gta iv, gfwl, rgsc and amazon unbox problems

hi there i have a win vista 32 bit,

 

here is an error im getting on GFWL,

no the error for rgsc and gtaiv (the app has encountered a fatal error and must close.)

also i have amazon unbox also will not launch. the error for that is

all this crap started after a host of windows updates were installed, last time it did this to me was do to newer net framework being installed then iwas able to go back to earlier history using system restore, this time i cant go back that early. and i have uninstalled all the .nets including 3.5 sp1 then re installed that also disabled in services the .net 2 x 86 or something like that. i have tried reinstalling (direct x, nvidea newest drivers, amazon unbox, (rgsc, gtaiv, got these 2 via gfwl digital download i think) gfwl, steam, civ 5 and have tried everything else in the book. even tried replacing the kernel32.dll with a fresh file. no luck still have problems and i think they are all related to each other that is why i mentioned the amazon unbox error as well. i think it is a registry issue with the kernel files based on the amazon error. of course RGSC and gtaiv will not tell me the exact error. any advice for me out there before i put a bullet in my notebook??

Oh boy, I don't know which files you replaced there, I believe you would benefit vastly from a fresh OS install.

 

For GFWL, the best bet is to completely remove any versions you may have installed and then install this one GFWL update. If that fails to work, you can try using xliveless to bypass GFWL which will disable MP but should allow you to play normally.
