VercettiCrimeFamily Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 Hi guys , i love GTA IV and play it most of the day when im on xfire but im afraid xfire wont detect my GTA IV.. Heres a list of what i've done. I've tried detecting the game manually. through options>games ect. I've uninstalled Xfire and re-installed it still no joy. The game is not downloaded i bought it from the store. and it of course isnt a steam game so whats the problem? Help please! - P.S I know this is off topic but no one is replying to me on Xfire fourms , and i quessed that alot of people have xfire and almost everyone on this forum has gta iv , so yeah i thought that it would be a good idea to post on here. _Rob_ Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 have you tried editing the INI file, you basically copy a line which shows the name and path of the game amongst other things, then change everything to be IV save that and boot xfire, you should then be able to launch IV in Xfire, make sure you point it to the launch IV.exe and not the IV.exe though. Oh and the INI can be found in c:/program data which may be hidden . And I think this should be in the gaming section Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
