That_Guy28
OK, so I am tired of dealing with my ever-lagging Dell Inspiron 537 slim. Since I can't do much with it's slim case, I want to get a full size case, a full size video card and a better psu. My question: Is this possible? The specs are: 3GB ram ATI Radeon 3450 hd 256MB Intel Dual Core @ 2.6GHz It has these pins (to the left) that don't look too easy to get off. I will need to somehow get those off in order to transfer the motherboard to a different case. Does anybody know how to get those pesky bitches off of there? Once I get the motherboard out and put it into a full width computer case with a better psu, will it be compatible with a non-slim profile video card? I'm thinking of putting like a ATI Radeon 5770 in there. thanks

Ronnyboy
Most cases will have holes for ATX and mATX mobo's, just make sure you check when you buy. Have you made some choices as to what you want to buy as well?
anus
Follow this guide to remove the motherboard. The motherboard looks a little different from the usual ATX boards, but I think you should be able to fit it into a normal case, but I highly doubt you'll be able to use the I/O shield. Still, that won't affect functionality. You also will be able to add a normal sized video card once you move the board to a more roomier case. For $285.94 ($275.94 after MIR on video card) you can get: Case: Coolermaster Elite 370 Case fans: 3x Scythe Kaze Maru 2 140MM PSU: Seasonic SS-650HT 650W 80 Plus Bronze Video card: Gigabyte HD5770 1GB
