Obvious answer, PC.

^^ This.

PS3 and Xbox graphics has a certain limit.

PC's Has over that limit. You can make GTA IV look like real life sh*t. And you can Upgrade your Graphics from cards. soo yeah. PC is winner.

But what if you start out with a sweet rig? I'm pretty sure a basic AlienWare gaming rig off the shelf would still smoke a console.

Any Mid range PC built in the last 3 - 4 years will provide a better graphical experience than the consoles. Nearly all console games are 1280 x 720 @ 30fps (or lower). PC gamers that are serious about gaming on the PC now expect 1920 x 1080 @ 60fps (or greater) those that are very serious about PC gaming and have money for it expect to game at 2560 x 1600 @ 60fps.

In terms of graphics the PC cannot be touched, to even think a 4 - 5 year old console with just 512mbs of ram can even touch the tech PC gamers have access too is sheer idiocy.

Wow, thats a quite clever condtion man suicidal.gif

It depends on the PC you buy then confused.gif

You can buy a high-end gamer pc or a pc for office stuff only but there is only one version of the 360 and the PS3

this is definately a non-sense topic

user posted image, you must admit there's no such thing as s set definition for a 'PC'. Attempting to impose one via VGA is so obviously skewing the results toward the consoles that it's quite ridiculous. You might as well say that comparing Tianhe-I and the best versions of the X360 and PS3 would be reasonable.

This topic is completely pointless. It's pretty obvious PC will win due to you being able to change it's graphics card

I guess, but OP mentioned grapics

And to render those graphics, you need CPU, RAM, et cetera...

PC is technically better.

Consoles are more fun when you play them though. Out of consoles I would pick PS3...I have an XBOX, so you know I'm right. wink.gif

GrandMaster Smith

PC's hands down. But it depends on how you're looking at it, if you're saying whats the best gfx for the price then i'd say 360. $200 for an all around entertainment center with pretty decent graphics compared to just a pc video card for around the same price, not including everything else you need to make a computer operate, you'll have a much lower bill buying the 360. It all comes down to what you really want tho, gfx definitely improve gaming experiences but don't make a game.
