kingfofo666
Hello , I have created a car in gmax and now want to export it to .dff using Kam´s Script. I do know how to use gtamax, and i do know how to do it manually using a listenerwindow-grabber to get the information into a txt and then use the tb2.exe to convert it into a .dff! And yes, i do know that i have to delete the first and last line that contains <snoopstart> and <snoopend> and despite that i enoc*nter the same problem again and again. One time it says "=" is not a valid integer value (the file contains many many "="!!!!) and another time it says "i" is not a valid integer value (the file also contains many "i"). and the same message appears if i do it using gtamax! I have read through too many topics in this forum and on every other forum i could find and still couldnt find a solution. As i mentioned, the textfile contains many "=" (MMC = true) and i cant figure out a way to work around this problem. It would be a shame if i have gotten this far and fail because of an exporting problem so i would be thankful if a person who got it to work could post a helpful reply. So far thanks, Kingfofo
RanxeroX
I think your problem with the 'MMC=True' showing up in the text is either a bug of Kam's script for GMax or something glitched with your material/texture setup. I seem to recall having the same thing happen to me once in awhile. As for how to fix it, you can try to look through your materials for anything unusual in the way they're configured. It might be something like a multi-material within another multi-material. Or maybe GMax itself is screwing them up somehow? Wish I could be more specific on this but I haven't used GMax in quite awhile so memory is fuzzy. One thing helpful I do remember is that when I had this problem during export, what I did to fix the bad text is to open the Listener window, scan for the glitches (the MMC stuff, etc.), then manually edit them out. I think if you have gta-max running in the background you can then right-click it in the tray (next to the system clock) and tell it to 'Manual Fetch'. This should get it to re-read the data and get a clean export. Good luck!
kingfofo666
Well thank you for your reply! Unfortunately i could not get it to work, what ever i edited out of the listener window, kam´s script found somthing else to complain about: true, f, i 9, 0.0 and a lot more seem to be invalid integer values. I really dont know what to do now -.- So i would still appreciate any other suggestion on how to fix or work around the problem. Is there another program i could use to export to dff. without such problems? Apart from 3ds max wich i can´t afford. Thank you, Kingfofo
