pentagon1311
I really don't know what the problem is... When i first bought my pc a year ago gta iv was one of the first games i played, and it worked perfectly... But now when i installed it again i have this annoying stuttering that won't allow me to enjoy the game, i don't know how to fix it, i doesn't matter if lower the settings or not the stuttering remains the same, it's so annoying! i tried memrestric but it didn't work i have no idea what to do, i just know that my system isn't the problem... pls help i'm going nuts over here! mkey82
Try another patch version and you'll probably want to use the GPU driver version you were using back then. And we are going to assume your OS is in the more or less same condition it was the last time you ran GTAIV, which probably it isn't.
pentagon1311
I have reinstalled my OS twice since then, my nvidia driver version is 260.99, i have no idea what driver i had back then...
mkey82
As far as I can recall, 181.xx and 197.xx were often mentioned to give best performance. Note that the latest patch version caused performance issues for some people.
