When my friend and I did a double chainsaw attack on a Locust on the first Gears of War. We had no idea it was possible and we did not plan on doing it. We both just happened to have the same idea about this Locust and then it happened and we were all like "Holy sh*t!" and the Locust was all "NO WAI!"

There's tons that I can think of, but my favorites would be...

Half-Life. There are a bunch of great moments in this game, but my favorite is the first 15 minutes. This critical first act sets up the man and myth of Gordon Freeman. And it perfectly immerses you into his character, and at points I remember thinking, "Just this morning I was just doing my job, and now I'm fighting a three headed giant blind beaky monster in a missile silo."

Skate. When I got nollie 360 flips down. smile.gif

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II. Flying down the death star trench, just like the movie, and blowing up the death star.

Splinter Cell: Conviction. The Lincoln Memorial chase. It just makes you feel like such a badass chasing down this guy while he and the police are shooting at you, and you're jumping over things, sliding across the hood of cars, and just as you're about to catch up to the shooter, his car explodes.

Call of Duty: United Offensive. The Battle of the Bulge. The first mission on this expansion pack is probably my favorite FPS moment of all time. You're in the 101st airborne at the Battle of the Bulge, just on a patrol behind enemy lines, and then you run into the advance of the German army, and have to race back to a jeep, and make it back to the front-line to defend against the attack. You use 30cal machine guns, and bazookas, and when you think you're going to be overrun, General Patton's 1st armored comes rolling in, with air support flying overhead. I'll also give an honorable mention to using your first artillery strike in the multiplayer version of this game.

my first time playing GTA IV... i got it at midnight (three days after my 18th birthday so great timing R*) and i stole a minivan and went speeding down the four lane road that leads into the highway area to the airport... any ways i went to fast around a turn and caught my left wheels on the curb of the median and proceeded to roll my van down the next block... around 4 rolls lol...

Hmm, let's see...

The feeling of succeeding when I won my first game of SKATE or when I nailed my first long grind in skate. back in '07, that felt great, or when I first saw Liberty City from 300 meters up in GTA IV...

The moment when I first stepped into Armadillo Saloon in RDR, and just a week or so later standing aside John's tombstone, got me wondering how a game can do that mercie_blink.gif
