Jass5991
I've downloaded the Color Mod and the Depth of Field Mod. These mods require Pixel Shader 2.0 at least, which is what i have. However, the error CREATEPIXEL:D3DERR_INVALIDCALL or something like that. Please HELP!. Bennington
Try downloading GPU-Z (Click me), and check if your pixel shader is 2.0 for sure. That´s the only way I can help you... Download and then just run it, and a lot of informations about your graca will be shown. Your pixel shader version is shown in the line "DirectX Support". There´s something like "10.0 / SM4.0" written. In that case, the version is 4.0 (my graphic card ). Jass5991
My Graphic card is an Intel Q35 Express Chipset with a Unified Shader Model 3.0 I need to update it but i'm afraid that if the update fails i won't be able to restore it to it's previous version. If you can tell me how, i'll gladly appreciate it Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/461894-troubleshoot/#findComment-1060187169 Share on other sites
TheSiggi
Download any tool which shows you your current settings and driver versions, if the updates cause malefunctions download the current one But since Intel only makes onboard graphic chips I'm afraid that the required memory for the shaders could be the probem since the onboard chip has no own memory whereas PCI-E/AGP graphics cards have min 128/512Mb memory. Jass5991
As it is, My drivers are v7, whereas the latest is v15. Could it be that the outdated drivers are causing this problem? TheSiggi
Depends on how old v7 is Try it Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/461894-troubleshoot/#findComment-1060187412 Share on other sites

TheSiggi
Well I guess its just not working because a chipset can't handle the game plus shaders at the same time Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/461894-troubleshoot/#findComment-1060188641 Share on other sites
