ezkNYNE
Hey, Since I'm starting to make a mod for the Hotknife, I'm having an issue with the shading or texturing of the vehicle. It looks completely flat, without brightness when I set it as a Primary color with the SA Vehicle Default. If you see the differences, the brightness of the Sabre is WAY better than the Hotknife's. I need to know how to fix that and I'd really be appreciated to even credit you for fixing this kind of issue. Thanks. RanxeroX
To answer your question, your car looks flat because you didn't enable any of the export options that give it what you're after. See the three boxes below the material's main box? You need to turn on export of Reflection, Specularity and SA Spec. These are what will give the car the shine and highlights you want. BTW, don't use 100% strength on any of them. Dial the reflection and specularity down. Don't recall exact numbers ATM but I think about 60% reflection and 30% specularity should be lots. If it doesn't come out looking the way you want, don't be afraid to play around with the numbers or import vehicles to see their settings.
