Big Slow
They do show films from time to time. It's funny, because you'll get banned for posting nudity, but a sponsored showing of the Blue Lagoon can show Brooke Shields in all her glory no problem. Otter
The Screening Room has been around for a while. http://www.youtube.com/user/ytscreeningroom ...but they used to have full features in there. Seems like it's just shorts and independents now.
nerner
To be honest youtube would make an absolute killing if they were to team up with a film company like Universal and show their films all the time for a monthly/yearly fee. Would certainly give you something else to watch compared to the boring "Fail1!?!1" videos which make me want to die. And I remember when the screening room used to show proper stuff, not just 15 minute shorts which were nominated for an Academy Award a decade ago. Not sure why they stopped showing full feature-length stuff recently but I'd imagine that it's down to licensing problems, like everything else in this day and age. Tyler
They show Lions Gate films on youtube for free now. There about eight advertisements throughout. About the same as commercials on television. Shows like the Doom Generation are available, without any edit. Most films feature nudity, that being a big factor on if people watch them, apparently. I constantly see comments like 'wtf tits on utube!?!?!' or ' [insert time where boobs are seen here] ' thumbed up by five hundred. The YouTube Store is not yet available in your country. Yeah they might have been doing it in the states, for of the year, but in Canada it is still not here. Canada always gets short end of the stick. Formerly known as The General

Apparently the collective rock of the whole rest of the world. Seriously sh*t how the UK probably won't ever get to see this idea in action for one reason or another. 3minty3
There wasn't any good movies except for kick-ass when I looked at the store. Don't think I'm missing out on anything great.
Pico
It's really nothing fascinating. It's like a Redbox, Blockbuster, or pay-per-movie Netflix. The movies they have aren't brand new or anything, so the selection will be the same. They do have a lot of obscure ones, though. I found a movie, The Breaks, which is primarily rare due to it's crappy-ness, but I find it hilarious. The best part was it didn't cost a thing to watch it. So they've got some free ones in there, they just don't have a way to sort movies by cost... and really, the sorting system sucks. Pretty sure it'll flop.
