TOMERAKA
So.. Rockstar has just launched it last episode (I guess) for RDR, which was a part from the RDR's DLCs disc. Personallity, I guess that R* is done with RDR, otherwise why would they launch a disc includes all of it DLCs? We have to wait, maybe GTA V's announcement will come by.. GritEngine
Well, I hope you are right. It makes sense to announce something new in the ramp up to releasing already announced titles, just like they announced other games the same way prior. The GTA Guy
What about Rockstar's new title Agent? I think they focus on that now. But hopefully announcement of the new GTA will come soon..
GritEngine
Hey, that's a good point. Maybe the point of it this time is to skip the pc until the pc gets a "complete edition" instead of the arguable mess that IV is, with so many versions, complete, single + dlc, dlc stand alone, etc.
Wenis IV
What about Rockstar's new title Agent? I think they focus on that now. But hopefully announcement of the new GTA will come soon.. I dunno if rockstar is going to put their entire focus on Agent. I mean its a ps3 exclusive so its just not going to get as much attention as a multiplatform game like GTA will. Plus many other game studios announce many games before they even come out. For example, DICE has announced Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam, Battlefield 3, Mirror's Edge 2, and even Medal of Honor (though that just came out). As you can see they had 4 games announced at once and it didn't do anything to the hype of the other games. I would bet on a GTA V announcement before Agent comes out, however after the announcement I wouldn't expect to hear anything about it for another 4 or 5 months at least. Thats the time they will use to market Agent. (and Max Payne 3 for that matter I guess)

jnzooger
Speaking about AGENT: We literally only know that at least part of the game is set in the 1970s in Europe and that it revolves around "the world of counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations". Thats it, that's all they have told us.

Or goverment, CSI, whatever, its going to be spyish You shouldn't write off a game so quickly, we don't know anything about it apart from the fact that it's the first non GTA game R* North has made since Lemmings. My point being that that sounds very exciting.
AceRay
actually it does sounds pretty good. Hopefully it isn't a ripe off of Bond. It does sound fun though. Do we get Submarine cars?

jumbo0
I agree with Wenis IV! A PS3 exclusive game isn't gonna be promoted before a multi-platform game. Another thing, if they release Agent first, and then revealing information about GTA V, that might take the attention away from Agent, because GTA V is the concern then. So first announcing GTA V and then releasing Agent is they good thing to do I think. But I doubt R* will do that... The announcement is for GTA V is @ 02/02/2011

batik89
Man, no one mention L.A. Noire?! I'm pretty sure R* will put their attention to promote that game after they finish with Undead Nightmare.
SirPsychoSexy
Am I the only one that read the article where there is some sort of hint towards bigger DLC-packs for RDR? http://uk.xboxlive.ign.com/articles/112/1123037p1.html IGN: Has this approach to DLC, focused more on bite-sized content as opposed to massive expansions, been more successful for Rockstar when compared to GTA IV? Steve Martin: GTA's episodes were very successful for us. If Red Dead's DLC has the same kind of impact, we will all be very happy. Everyone at Rockstar is very proud of the episodes for GTA. We think they set a new benchmark for quality and ambition for DLC. Our focus this time was to make packs that were approximately half the size, to support the online community as quickly as possible, then get some good single player content out a few months later. The major piece of single player content, the Undead Nightmare pack, will amaze fans of the single player game when they see it. The single most fan requested game idea in the history of Rockstar –an open world zombie game – brought to life for ten bucks. Maybe I'm reading it wrong though... On the other hand: IGN: Are there plans for additional downloadable content beyond what has already been announced? Steve Martin: Right now we're focused on completing the Undead Nightmare pack. New, bigger and better DLCs to await for RDR?
Mati
I think they do. Maybe even on their next conference. I mean R* just closes two big ´books´. RDR and GTA4 (complete edition) So we need something new. We have info about Max Payne and Agent (Im not sure if Bully 2 is just a rumor) GTA5 coming soon...? Jabalous
Few words. Get prepared for L.A Noire in the next few months. It's not a release date but a date where the game will get its second reveal, and from that, Rockstar will keep marketing the game until it releases. Jabalous
Maybe now with the release of Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition, we'll start to get hints of the next GTA from R*. Can't wait for more info! In the link presented, Sam Houser's statement is an another confirmation that Rockstar is considering GTA IV with its DLCs as three separate games, and that's when he said "trilogy" as same as when they and we refer to GTA III and its expansions VC and SA as GTA III trilogy. Another thing is that it seems that IV era is officially done since it has already formed a trilogy.
Rucke
LA Noire, Max Payne 3 and Agent, then we can start talking about GTA V. And don't forget that all these games will probably have DLC's and things.
Niko_Vercetti7
Another thing is that it seems that IV era is officially done since it has already formed a trilogy. Not necessarily, they released the III trilogy then a few months later Liberty City & Vice City Stories came out. Therefore the III era didn't officially end until Vice City Stories came out. I suspect that GTA V will end the IV era then it'll move onto another era if there is one planned.
MrcTOtheJ
Ok about L.A Noire, all R* is doing is publishing it, so it probly isn't too taxing on man power besides in the advertising department, about RDR's DLC, it's developed by R* San Diego(I'm assuming as they developed the game.) yes, Sam Houser, did work on it, but still, dosen't mean a GTA dev team can't be getting to working on some things, and finely Max Payne 3 is developed by R* Vancouver, so R* north is really, as far as I know, only working on agent. So, from this, I estimate, a late 2010 to mid 2011 announcement, with a late 2011 (big maybe) release, though most likely a 2012 release is going to happen. So yeah I'd expect an announcement soon. LCS and VCS weren't major GTA releases, instead they are considered to be sub-III's Liberty city and Vice City games. Rockstar doesn't even consider them as GTA games that share III, VC and SA in forming the trilogy otherwise they would have added both of them in III's trilogy package. There's a possibility that Rockstar would revisit IV's era but not in the next major GTA release and probably not on the HD consoles, instead they would release it on PSP2 if it came out in the same way they released LCS and VCS on PSP, and afterwards they released them on PS2. Actually North has sent down a team of animators to help Team Bondi with Noire. Resource?

Yeah, I read that too somewhere... on printed magazine, if I'm not mistaken. The Housers sent their GTA team to assist Team Bondi, especially in action gameplay section.
