Import own music in GTA V

Recommended Posts

yeah well, i voted "NO", as for them regular stations, i prefer to get surprised with music i don#t know or have forgotten about. like with gta 4. perfect soundtrack in my opinion.

well maybe the option to have a "Whiz Fm" and you can upload your own sh*t.

but i hope to see a line of new radio stations with djs, funny comments and advertising.

I'm not disputing that you're not entitled to your opinion, however if you're going to express it in a fanboyish way like you did, it's just going to turn into a fanboy war which I'm not going to have. The solution is to eliminate the problem, which in this case would be you. Like I said before, if you're going to be a fanboy, don't bother coming back here.

Excuse me? You better think again. It was a simple question, I gave a simple opinion. The problem would be those, like yourself, derailing the topic and fixating on ME like, gasp, a f*cking fanboy, hahaha, big surprise there, whatever dude. You are causing the scene, I am defending myself. Fact.

IF you have anything else to say to me, you may direct it to my inbox. Your challenges and scene here are uncalled for, my opinion, like all others in this topic, however, was called upon in the opening post. kthxbainow.

And now on-topic:

A console is a crippled PC. The only reason GTA has it on PC is because of windows media api. Yea, xbox supports it these days, ps3 too, but they are still just ways to make you think "hell, we don't even need computers anymore!" so yes, I hate consoles.

At the root of it, I can also say: I personally don't even use that feature... I think it's corny and takes away from the entertainment in the radio stations provided. I know people who don't listen to the radio stations at all and only independence fm. kinda sad, and it explains one aspect of why barely any of the "fans" of the game even understand what it is really about, while people push the stereotypes of what GTA is instead.

I haet Mudkipz

Very SIMPLE sulution for XBOX 360 or PLayStation users! In GTA you turn radio sound off and play music on your laptop or PC! Thats what I do in IV!

Not the same plus not everyone even has a PC/laptop let alone one close enough to do what you suggested.

I think this should be included, make use of having music on your hard drive!

I really dislike using the 360's dashboard music player instead of a true custom radio station like Independence FM.

The first GTA I played was San Andreas on the original Xbox and it had a custom radio station that mixed commercials with music tracks you'd ripped onto the Xbox hard drive. The Xbox versions of GTA III and Vice City also had this but they called it a CD or tape player. These only played while in vehicles. I don't mind having the option to play music over the entire game but it's no substitute for this.

A side effect of the Xbox 360 music player is that it silences all music in the game until you press stop, so if you just pause the music, you experience Liberty City with no music coming from anywhere.
