iLiR
Hi. I'm having a problem with deleting a building from gta sa. Ok so here we go. I deleted the house that is under id 14714 from gen_int2.IDE, it looks like this: 14714, int2Hoose08, vghss1int2, 30, 0 But I saw that this house is under stream 0, means that it's placed in binary ipl, actually in gen_int2_stream0.ipl. I extracted this file from gta_int.img, opened with IPL Helper by xmen, deleted the line with the id 14714 and replaced it in gta_int.img. I also rebuild the archive. And then I started the game, and whenever I start new game or load game, it crashes. WHY? Do I need to do something else? I think deleting the collision and model of the house won't help! Or I am wrong? Edited October 25, 2010 by ilir Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/461804-delete-house-without-game-crash/ Share on other sites

Or I am wrong? Why don't you just deleted it with Map Editor ? Shadow-Link
Not sure if Map Editor supports Binary IPL files. If I remember correct gforce released a max script to import/export binary IPL files (somewhere in the tools section). You can give that a try. iLiR
Why don't you just deleted it with Map Editor ? The game crashes anyway. Btw, I don't prefer to delete objects with MEd. Hello? That wasn't my problem. I'm asking something else, dude. And please keep up to the topic !!! FV Mods
If the object is vital for the certain map or contains a script it MIGHT cause crashing if deleted. Example being the crane in SF where demolition site is. It's an interior, but it's not used in any enex, mission or script. It's a "forgotten from god" house. That's because I want to delete and free up the id 14714 so I can add my model instead.
