Far from gritty industrial Alderney and glitzy and glamorous Algonquin is Broker, the shady and dreaded borough sharing it's isle with neighboring Dukes.

Filled with a variety of areas ranging from gang-filled housing projects to Eastern European neighborhoods, Broker is a place where crime flows through the streets almost the same as hundreds of cars do each day.

It is precisely in Broker where we find the Faustin Family, an ambitious Russian Bratva ruled by Mikhail Faustin and his brother for life, Dimitri Rascalov. The family has managed to stay out of major trouble for 15 years, maintaining strong business relationships with other mobs and staying two steps ahead of the police. However, when Mikhail returns from a trip to the home country with a mysterious new ideology in his head, the family will have to put all differences behind themselves and join themselves in an attempt to fix every mistake Mikhail makes, which will not prove to be an easy task.

The family will have to attempt to fix everything up, for better...

Or for worse.

Sergei Utrihanev:

The protagonist of From Russia Without Mercy.

Sergei was born in 1978, in Moscow, Russia, making him 30 and effectively the 3rd oldest protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV.

His father had worked closely with the Faustin's in Russia, and upon his death, Mikhail took Sergei and his sister in, and moved to Liberty City in 1993, exploiting a loophole in the immigration treaty.

In Liberty City, Sergei was raised in a life of violent crime, and trained in several fighting arts and weapon mastery. Mikhail made him his bodygaurd, and later the enforcer of the Faustin Family.

In gameplay, Sergei is much more skilled in weaponry and severely more athletic. He can run longer and faster, jump several types of ledges, and has increased aim and precision. He does not shake at all when wielding a sniper and looking through the scope, and can control recoil severely much more than previous protagonists.

Psychologically, Sergei is cold and distant, having been raised in the ruthless and brutal world of Russian organized crime, and having been trained for the only purpose of killing and beating people. He is pessimistic about the world and pretty much everything, and doesn't be;ieve much in "redemption" or "absolving sins", which is why he doesn't propose himself at all to leave the life he's living.

Previously appeared in Grand Theft Auto IV in No Love Lost, and Mr. and Mrs. Bellic. He and Lionel also briefly appeared in The Lost and Damned, during Roman's Holiday.

For a list of Sergei's clothing, see here.

Mikhail Faustin:

Mikhail Faustin was born in 1963 in Russia, in what was the Soviet Union at that time. During the Cold War, in 1987, he met Dimitri Rascalov in a Siberian prison camp, and both became friends and eventually "brothers for life".

Mikhail protected Dimitri inside from various assaults, and kept him alive until both escaped.

Faustin began criminal activity with Rascalov after the end of the war, begging "selling hash to tourists in Red Square."

In 1993, he moved to Liberty City, upon the fall of The Berlin Wall, although many Mafia families had already moved to America, amongst them, the Petrovic Family.

He moved in with 15 year-old Sergei, his 13 year-old sister, his own sons Anna and Rustam, and his wife, Ilyena.

His family, although weak, maintained several properties and loan-sharking businesses in Liberty City, and managed to manatin itself for 15 years with steadily growing power.

In late 2008, Mikhail would eventually be killed by Niko Bellic, under the orders of his very own brother-for-life, Dimitri Rascalov.

Dimitri Rascalov:

Dimitri Rascalov was born in 1969, in Moscow, Russia (At the time, the Soviet Union), and was not a muscular, angry man, but more of a calm, smart man which eventually would make him rise to power in Liberty City.

In 1987, during the Cold War, he met Mikhail Faustin in a prison camp in Siberia, and both befriended and became "brothers for life".

After the end of the war, both began criminal activity activity and rose to power quickly.

In 1993, Dimitri moved with Faustin and the family to Liberty City, exploiting a loophole in the immigration treaty.

Although the family was weak at first, establishing loan sharking operations in Hove Beach and the rest of South Broker, the Faustin's quickly moved along the criminal ladder.

Over the years, Dimitri and Mikhail began to doubt each-other, and Dimitri began to become more and more greedy, and eventually killed Faustin secretly in late 2008, and blamed on a Serbian working for the Faustin's, Niko Bellic.

Ray Bulgarin:

Close friend of Dimitri, and again very questionable.

He was not related to the Faustin Bratva in Liberty City until early 2008, as he previously had only worked in slave trafficking and illegal smuggling in the Adriatic and Russia. He is a key part in the diamond and gold deal. Killed in the penultimate mission, by Luis Lopez.

Lionel Hassen:

Close friend of Sergei since childhood. Also works in the Faustin Bratva, yet at a less important position than Sergei's. Accompanies you during many missions.

Henry Callhoun

Henry is Sergei's 'friend in the courts', a not-so-clean attorney working at The Broker Courthouse. He helps Sergei and the family avoid time, along with other criminal organizations.

Sergei can call Henry for him to remove a wanted level of up to four stars. This does not work during certain missions.

Adam Dimayev:

Head of a car stealing ring in Dukes. He is picked up and later gives you Dimayev's Car Thefts. After his death, one can take them from his assistant/lackey: Mike.

Andrei:

Accomplice of Mikhail, gives you the instruction of helping him kidnap Roman and Niko Bellic, the people who killed Vlad. Killed during the exact same mission.

Leonid "Lenny" Petrovic

Lenny is the first official contact with the Petrovic Mob after Mikhail made Sergei take their cocaine. Sergei begins to do some chump work for him in order to fix the bad relationship between the Petrovics and the Faustins. In person, Lenny is a rather happy-go-lucky guy who usually just does some work in car smuggling for his dad, Kenny.

Konstatin "Kenny" Petrovic

Kenny is the hot-headed Pakhan of the Petrovic Bratva. Aside from his criminal work, he tends to frequent strip clubs and brothels in his words to "clean up his wife's mess". He frequently is accompanied by his personal assassin, Rami Yalon.

Mr.Drakunov:

A mysterious, cold Russian Terrorist. His voice is calm and deep, his eyes have a cold look, and his emotions are undecipherable. He could be saying that the government is rotten first, and later say that the world needs f*cking up. No one really knows what he is up to, but he seems to trust Adam and Sergei enough to provide him with weapons out of his truck.

Minor Characters

Niko Bellic:

Main character of Grand Theft Auto IV. He is kidnapped on Mikahil's orders, and then begins to do work for the family. Eventually , he ends up killing Lenny Petrovic on Mikahil's orders, sparking a full blown gang war with the Petrovics.

Seen first in To Serbia with Love, To Serbia With Love and briefly mentioned later in the game.

Luis Fernando Lopez:

Main protagonist of The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Seen during the diamond deal near the Platypus. He and Gay Tony conspired to steal Bulgarin's diamonds, which makes him a high priority target.

Roman Bellic:

Niko Bellic's cousin.

Kidnapped in To Serbia With Love along with his cousin, Niko Bellic.

Alexandra Utrihanev:

Sergei's sister. Despite the fact that both were raised in similar conditions, Alexandra, having spent more time with Ilyena Faustin, did not fall into a life of crime, and went to study for a Medical Degree in Los Santos, San Andreas.

She occasionally e-mails Sergei, and hopes that he will one day "leave the life he lives" and "do something that works".

Drang "The Muscle" Johnson

Drang is the doorman of Perestroika, who lacks in brains but makes up in brute force. He usually complains that he's at Perestroika and not somewhere like Maisonette 9. He tends to claim that he's moving to some nightclub in Algonquin, but everyone knows he's not going anywhere.

Bernie Crane:

Spied on during Closeted Photographer, as Dimitri wants to extort money out of Bryce Dawkins, his rumored gay boyfriend.

Slightly still a Work In Progress

Weapon Name Weapon Description
Silenced Pistol

user posted image

A new weapon specially designed for assassination, has the a sightly reduced and quieter punch than a standard pistol.

Silenced SMG

user posted image

A powerful and accurate silenced Sub-Machine Gun from "The Old Country". One of the most effiecent weapons in the game, but unfortuneatly has a low range.

Bullpup Rifle

user posted image

An Austrian Assault Rifle different from others: It has a magazine behind the trigger, and a scope for longer range shooting. Press the 'use object' key to see through the scope.

Combat MG

user posted image

A Russian heavy-machine gun: Much more powerful than The Ballad of Gay Tony's Advanced MG, extremely accurate and includes incendiary round upgrade. What more could you wish?

Silenced Sniper

user posted image

A Russian Sniper specially designed for quick, silent kills. Has a built-in Silencer which makes it a very deadly weapon in the streets of Liberty City.

Sticky Bombs

user posted image

The amazing "blow-sh*t-up-with-ease" weapon from The Ballad of Gay Tony returns, but more badass than ever: No more 90 second timer and the ability to stick it on to a pedestrian. Weazel News is going to make some right-wing report about this sh*t.-------------------------------------------------------------

Pegassi Bati 800

The luxurious, lightning fast Sports Bike from The Lost and Damned returns.

Certainly the best bike in the game, including luxury handling and looks.

Normally found in rich states, such as Algonquin or North Alderney.

user posted image
Sh*tzu BF-600

The Sh*tzu BF-600 is a stripped-down sports bike, capable of wonders when doing stunts and wheelies. Has an excellent handling, but not very good acceleration.

The BF-600 is a vehicle of choice for the Uptown Riders in Northwood.

user posted image
Dinka Bravura

This tuned-up 2-door may not have the speed, but it has the looks. Your typical car with an atypical bodykit.

Has decent handling, but you could obviously get much better cars.

user posted image
Übermacht Euros

The Übermacht Euros is a fine German sports car used by the Italian Mafia to look good and legal. Not the best car in the game, but you will be an opposing force in Races in this babe.

user posted image
Mammoth Military Patriot

The rough off-road Mammoth Military Patriot, used by the United States Army's visits to Liberty City, is possibly the best off-roader in-game. Spend some time on the beach or the Alderney mountains without trouble in this bad-boy.

Several of these bad-boys guard the Civilization Committee and escort transports.

user posted image
Benefactor Schafter (3)

The new 2008 luxurious version of the Benefactor Schafter ,similar to the ones in The Ballad Of Gay Tony.

Sexy looks and smooth handling make it the perfect car for the Faustin Family in the story.

user posted image
Pegassi Stinger

If perfection were a car, the Pegassi Stinger would be it.

A rare, beautiful Italian sports car with perfect handling and a top speed of 305 km/h. Gifted to you by Adam Dimayev upon completion of his Car Thefts.

Mafia Wars

Similar to Drug/Gang Wars, Mafia Wars are available by phoning Lionel and selecting Mafia War. You then pick him up, in which your map will become colored in Broker/Dukes/Bohan like this:

Red: Russian Mob (Your territory)

Green: Yardies

Orange: M.O.B

Black: Angels of Death

Yellow: Spanish Lords

You can choose a location and fight for the territory. In order to take over all territories you must complete 40 Mafia Wars (One for each small block of territory). Completing 10 of each will spawn a special weapon:

10 Mafia Wars: A Silenced Pistol

20 Mafia Wars: A Tactical Shotgun

30 Mafia Wars: Sticky Bombs

40 Mafia Wars: Combat MG

Mafia wars are only available in Dukes, Broker, and Bohan.

Dimayev's Car Thefts

Phoning Adam (after his disappearance, Michael) and selecting Car Thefts will start one of these randomly assigned missions; you must take the cars back to Adam's place, Kashayev Import/Export.

Dante's Infernus

Jack the unique dark blue Infernus of a Messina family enforcer who just received a good payday. He's driving around Cerveza Heights, along with some protection.

Lose Your Virginity

A high-value 1970s Virgo is parked at a parking lot in Francis International. Once you jack it, the alarm sounds and due to the high amount of cops there, you will receive a 2-star wanted level. Lose the wanted level and take the car back to Dukes.

Showing Off

A distinctive lime-green Sprunk Bati Custom is being showcased at the Westdyke Autos showroom. Drive off and voila, you have the bike. Easy as can be.

Pecker Your Packer

A Packer filled with Grotti cars is driving around toward the Grotti showroom. Intercept it before it gets there, but you will be greeted by the redneck truck drivers armed with shotguns, so bring backup. Once you have control of the car-filled Packer, bring it down to Adam's place in Dukes, where Mike will take the truck.

Sting Where It Really Hurts

This will always be the final car theft. Boast a Stinger driving around Algonquin. It is unprotected an simple to steal.

After you finish this theft, there will be no more cars to steal, but as a reward you will be gifted the same Stinger you stole, which will always spawn down at Kashayev Import/Export.

Club Management

Returns from The Ballad of Gay Tony, except towards Perestroika. One must take care of the club either as a guard or doorman. Work's exactly as standard TBoGT Club Management.

Kidnapping

Calling Dimitri and selecting Kidnapping will bring up a text message showing you either:

The target's workplace

The target's home

The target's vehicle and the area it drives around.

You must then search for the places and succesfully kidnap the person. This mission will work similar to Stevie's Car Thefts, meaning you can do missions inbetween.

Properties:

Calling Dimitri and selecting Properties will bring up a Dollar Icon on your map. Going to these will bring up a price for the property. Buying it will make it a small part of Russian mob territory (for Mafia Wars) and an accessible Mob House. Some properties include side-missions, but these are not necessary for main storyline completion, unlike Vice City.

Safehouses:

Marked by a safehouse icon with a dollar bill over it, buying a safehouse will obviously make it a part of your current safehouses. Completing all Mafia Wars will spawn certain weapons in them, see Mafia Wars for more info.

Mob House

The mob house (which is infact some of the back rooms in Perestroika) is a hub for several mini-games and activities, such as:

Russian Roulette

It's live or die in this dangerous game, where the player will put a revolver against his head, which has only one bullet in the cannon, and spin the magazine. Then, he will pull the trigger.

A heavy amount of money is bet on these games, so you can either try your luck, or place money on a guy.

If Sergei is killed, he will respawn in strange places, such as a dumpster, a shoreline on Firefly Island, the top of a building, or the trunk of a car.

Shots

Shots can be drank at the bar of Perestroika. After 12 shots, Sergei will pass out and normally wake up on the scaffolding of Perestroika, or his own safehouse.

Callgirls

By dialing 467-555-4477 on your keypad and calling, a contact named 'Callgirls' will be added to your phonebook. You can now select it and choose from a variety of girls under the names of 'Candice' or 'Foxxxy'. Each one has a "special" quality and appearance. They will be delivered to you in a PMP600, and you can take them to your safehouse's bed or a quiet place in a car, and the rest doesn't need to be explained.

They will cost you $1000 per "date".

why are u making a DLC for GTA IV ??? Rockstar said it will only be 2 DLC's and that's it for GTA IV and I think this topic belongs to GTA IV topics.

no offense

There have been many IV DLC threads posted here before. So this thread is no different. And the other DLC ideas weren't moved to the IV section either.

Anyway I like this idea. Looking forward to the missions! icon14.gif

Well, the AK-47 is in-game. tounge.gif

I'm not much of a weapons expert, IMO, so I could use help there.

You could add a new "Tactical Assault Rifle" and it could just be an AK47 with a laser sight and grenade launcher attachment that you can shoot with the B button while aiming.

Something like this:

Nefarious Money Man

This is a good idea and looks very promising well done icon14.gif I agree with Pac. about the logo though it doesn't look very russian.

Thanks, man. I'll use the sniper.

Akvari, can I borrow your silenced sniper icon? It's the one DRUS suggested.

Sure man, just promise to make this topic one of the best icon14.gif

I can try to make you a few good weapon icons for the new weapons too.

The Lolwut Pear

Okay, man.

About the logo: It's a Russian-ish font called Nantua, but I didn't really know how to color it, originally it was bright red, but It was too TLaD-like so I changed it to an orange-red gradient.

I love this topic. and also since your story starts waaaay longer before Family Values The Ghost and The King Of The City. your story should be longer then ours. But this is kinda hard since DLC's arent really very long. And I have an idea to keep it with not too many missions during the DLC maybe Sergei could get injured in a mission. He stays in the hospital for awhile and when he wakes up it's right before my mission Back In Buisness. And I think you should just make Roman's kidnapper a seperate character because he was a asshole making Johnny kidnap Roman and also Sergei is supposed to look like this http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/8205/sergei.jpg

Edited by LuisBellic
Yeah. It starts at the same time as Niko´s and ends even after Luis´ so it should have more mission that IV to stay logical.

But I love the topic anyways inlove.gif

So this DLC is going to have like 100 missions? Thats kind of ridiculous man and it will be a looot of work. I would just do like 30 missions starting before Niko's arrival to LC so you can work for Faustin and have Andrei and all those cool cats.

I think maybe Sergei could get injured on one of the missions and has to stay in the hospital and when he leaves the hospital it's right before Back In Buisness in Sammy's story

This is very good, as you see MOB has made a Italian LCN made DLC and you have made a Russian mob version, maybe combine them together somehow, like 2 for one price thing that he did with akavari.

One thing i suggest is that you change the logo colours they don't suit the russian mob feel if you get me.

Good start

His DLC is gonna be part of My topic im gonna make called Chronicles From Liberty City if the game were real I would make it so that it has 4 games and 2 games will be on each disc

I was going to add a mission in Family Values where Ray Bulgarin call's him and says if he kill's the chef and brings his head to the rooftop Then he will end the war with Gambetti's and Russians(Since the gold deal got interrupted) but I think this would be a better mission for your story.

I think a dragunov sniper rifle would fit the game since it's a Russian sniper rifle. And a new weapon in the assault riles could maybe be a A-91M look here http://russian-weapons.com/2008/09/a-91m/

Dragunov is similar to already GTA4's automatic sniper, better add Vintorez, which would give stealth kill option.

Spaghetti Cat

I kinda thought it was set in Moscow, guess I need to read the FULL title lol.gif

Yeah, I like this, its a good idea. I like the fact that you'd be working for the russians. I felt that in IV you didn't work for the russians for all that long. Niko should have had some more missions for Faustin before getting double-crossed IMO. So this DLC idea would be a good counter-point to that. Also being able to view what happened before Niko's story might be interesting.

All in all nice work, keep it up! icon14.gif
