Pac.
I would like to see seventies LC too. I don't know. If I can get off my arse and bring my London idea to life then I may attempt at creating a LC concept set in those times. Wasn't this going to be set in the eighties originally? Or am I thinking of something totally different mentioned by somebody else? Must have been sombody else, although a just saw a documentary on the Mafia a minute ago, insteresting things about the ten commandments, and how during the 50's the golden rules applied and people actually obeyed them, and how now in the modern day Mafia age the violence that lurks within these criminals is still very real, however alot of the honour and respect has gone away, and now it's more about making money and bassicly greed for one's personal self, by any means neccesary somtimes. More on that it talked about Philadelphia in the 80's. How it was actually a Mob ridden zone, shootouts occuring very frequently and im talking about almost street gang violence, a topic based on that would make quite the peice. However more on this topic i am loving the character imfo-stamps, really well done. I may use the last guy.. what's his name?? EDIT: It's Robert Davi.. it says so in the images description. He kinda looks like a younger version of Jon Gravelli.. Hmmm I will definitely use him. LC needs to be done in the early to mid 90's. Not that this has anything to do with the concept. Just sayin'. Tyla
Capra has become increasingly famous among mob circles for his temper and the genuine pleasure he takes in killing with some mobsters labelling him “a complete and utter psychopath”. Recent testimony from mob informant Fredo Volpe describes him as “the nastiest and most intimidating man he has ever met in all of his years as a mobster” Awesome! The cast gets better and better the more families you add. I like the weapons you added, especially the Lupara and the Silenced Pistol. What about a Revolver? I think those Magnum Revolver style icons have been thrown around a bit too much. I was thinking of adding a Snub Nose but I need an icon for it and there's not much point wasting a request that I can only make every five days on one icon. And thanks for the compliments on the characters.. Cash High
Nice idea man. I think something that would be cool to see in a DLC like this is more real life organized crime environments. By this I mean things like social clubs. Where different families would operate out of like the real like La Cosa Nostra. And more Italian neighborhoods in LC, since the only Italian neighborhood in GTA IV was Little Italy, and that was small as hell. There should be an Italian neighborhood somewhere in Broker (preferably between Hove Beach & East Hook) since that is where the majority of Italian organized crime influenced neighborhoods are in real life. There should be more mob fronts with a visible mob presence. It would be cool to go into an Italian neighborhood and see wiseguys hanging out in front of social clubs and stuff. I don't understand how Rockstar could leave out Italian Organized Families in Broker when that's where alot of their strongholds are IRL (Brooklyn). Oh and private gambling sessions would also be cool. They could be located in different buildings throughout the cities ran by different families. You could go in and play cards or any other gambling. Being able to take over these spots would be cool also. Tyla
Yes, great ideas. There is a social club that looks like a mob hangout in Rotterdam Hill. Can't remember the name of the street... it overlooks BOABO and leads to underneath the Algonquin Bridge, but it sounds like it could be worked in because its in exactly the right place. How about each family would have their own specific hangout? Like the clubhouse was to The Lost, the clubs in Gay Tony. The player would be able to visit each one and immerse themselves in the atmosphere. And what would make this the more interesting is that this story is unique in the sense that Carlo the protagonist would work for each of the families at some point... how better to capture the feeling of affiliation with one of the families than getting to know your crew over a game of poker? It would be nice to see guys like Mark Volpe running their sports books underground too. It could also lead to a chain of other mob sorts like loan sharks appearing because of possible debts that could be accumulated. They touched on debts in San Andreas I believe... a bunch of guys would show up in a car and gun the sh*t out of you if you let your accounts get out of control. Obviously, the brains here could do so much with that. Looking forward to see what you do with the Lupisellas mate Hope you go down the Luca Brasi route with Sonny Honarato. Nefarious Money Man
Vehicles? I don´t think that vehicles are THAT important right now. I won't be adding vehicles.. they're not necessary in my view. @Tyla: Sonny Honorato is deceased according to the LCPD Database. The Lupisellas will have only a small role at the start of the story anyway.
