GTA IV Simple Native Trainer 6.2

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I just got the game a few days ago and I'm still new to modding the game and such.

I'm having a difficulty trying to figure out how is it that I install script mods like this Simple Native Trainer 6.2

(link: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/simple-tra...rsion-62-f2115)

I was thinking if someone could tell me how is it that I install these mods.

Do I need another program to install this type of mod? What do I need to do?

I really want to get this mod working.

I'm pretty lost.

Please help.

Here's how I installed it:

First you'll need an ASI Loader for the trainer to work.

I used Alexander Blade's ASI loader which you can download here: http://alexander.sannybuilder.com/Files/IVAsiLoader.rar

I used the Winrar program to open the IVASILoader.rar file.

Copy the dsound.dll file from IVASILoader.rar to your GTAIV folder (the folder that contains GTAIV.EXE)on your hard drive.

Copy all of the files from the trainerv62 you downloaded into the GTAIV folder also.

Now all you have to do is start up the game, hit F3 and the trainer menu should pop up. Use the numpad arrows to navigate the menu, Num 5 is like the "enter" key for the mod.

There is a lot of information about how to use the trainer here and detailed installation instructions that might help if you are trying to install this for Episodes From Liberty City also: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=392973&st=0
