[WIP][III/VC/SA?] Jurassic Park Wrangler (Mesa)

Hello all,

 

I have been talking to Evil-raptor about his and the team's Jurassic Carnage TC. I saw his previous work on VC, I said that I liked his Mesa edit, A Jurassic Park Wrangler Jeep. He said it was crap and he could do so much better now. We coheered and we set down a challenge that I would rebuild it, although it would most probably not feature in the TC because of the plot. If you've seen Evil-raptors JP Mesa it probably looks the same to you apart from a few tweaks. What Evil-raptor had made, the texture was almost in the right places, I made this from scratch, following the old texture quite closely. I made it with a much more higher quality and added some small things, like the spare wheel texture on the back and the JP number plates. I have yet to do the wheels and make some more tweaks to the body paint as there are bugs, handling too. I will also try to fix up a Hard top Mesa's texture and show you what that looks like. As I stated in the thread's title it could be for either of the III engine games, this is because I have managed to do backwards compatability and get the VC mesa into III (replacing the Moonbeam) and work great, and The VC mesa would need to be converted for this to work in SA, as SA's mesa doesn't have a body texture. If you want it for SA, I need a program which is a low MB count that can covert models. I am no modeller, So I'm not going to waste my time downloading a 1GB 3ds max for converting vehicles... for that matter, I refuse to pay for a program aswell!

 

The jeep does look much better in game, but I don't have the time right now, I will re-post with some in-game pics in a few minutes. I will also post regular updates for people who are interested.

It's basically a retexture. If I were you, I'd either restart this from the ground up, or try and remodel it to be more like the 92' Wrangler Sahara in the movie.
