GTA IV & EFLC: gain 15 to 20 fps

This is what i did it works for me, if you play on high textures try putting this into your commandline, -memrestrict 393601280

any lower number will give even more fps but the texture's will start dissapearing and some artifact's will show, this is the border for high textures where everything is working

fine, and you will se the big difference in fps, at least in my case :-) , i gained around 15 to 20 fps in both EFLC and GTA IV, try it and post your result

i didn't got a single FPS boost but, i got less lag (incredible when i didn't got FPS boost) and the textures doesn't disappear at all

Yeah, the memrestrict values are system specific.

 

The top value is always calculated as <VRAM in MB>*1024*1024. You will usually want to use a lower number then that and testing is always good.
