GTA IV: The complete edition

amazon is advertising The complete ed. of IV on its site:

It ships on October the 26th.

 

I'm a bit disappointed by this, because lately I've been thinking the game could do with a remake now, or in the near future. The complete ed looks like it doesn't contain any new features, which is a shame because online is starting to get a bit deserted.

 

Here's how I'd have done it:

 

Unified the MP so you can get all the modes on one menu.

 

Share all the new stuff from the DLCs and put them in Vanilla and TLAD (cars, weps, enterable buildings etc) MP too.

 

CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE the matchmaking FFS!

 

Mission replays in IV & TLAD like BOGT

 

Infinite yellow cab missions for Niko, Fire dept for Johnny and ambulance for Luis.

 

The changes made for the complete ed. could also be packaged as a paid for update for everyone who already has the game. It'd be cheap, maybe 200 points.

 

Anyway, that's my 2c, but I have to say that this is a surprise. Maybe they can do a remake in the future
