This is the simpliest and the most effective goddamn solution to all that annoying freezing pause menu and black screens kick-offs, that make you go through the same mission for 100 or more times. More useful for XP (i don't know about others)

 

After searching for all this day by this forum and a google i found nothing, but found an interesting clue that gave me the solution to subjected problem.

 

If you have this problem, then do next steps:

 

1. Go to GTA SA root folder.

2. Open streams.ini

3. Remove everything from there and save it (empty file should be).

4. And that's all, nigga!

 

This file is loaded when loading the savegame and going from pause menu to a game, this file kicks the game out every 20 times you use the pause menu.

 

For a proof you can make a "crash-test" for a game with unchanged file an an empty one, do this:

1) load some savegame

2) hit escape as often as you can and move the mouse rapidly

with unchanged stream.ini file you'll get a black screen or menu freeze after a while, with empty stream.ini you can do that for a hours, nigga.
