How to change heli & seaplane height limit...

Don't take so serious topic title as solution because i am looking for it , so it is more like question. HELP NEEDED!

 

I wonder if there is a possibility to change default game height limit for helis and seaplane, by using similar memory address "trick" just like in case of repositioning police car emergency lights, just in the way like below:

 

05DF: write_memory 0x58BEB0 size 4 value 8488724 virtual_protect 1  // police right x05DF: write_memory 0x818714 size 4 value 0.60 virtual_protect 0

 

So if everyone know which address is responsible for default height limit value and how to change this by writing it into similar formula like this one above, and set height limit to any custom one, i would be really glad, because of course i tried before also changing game area borders and height limit too via 'Limit Adjuster 2 beta 6' but using this adds some bugs and game crashes ocasionally sometimes, so im looking for an alternative sollution to that... And we are talking about VC.

I think the limit has to do with the skybox, if it is then there won't be an address to change it, the map skybox would have to be edited.

Well i am certainly sure that it CAN be done via mem addresses, just like in Spaceeinstein's miniconsole, but i want to make it a new custom !! fixed !! value, not temporary. Skybox? I haven't heard about it maybe in SA there's a way to adjust sky limit via editing skybox like You said , but im not familiar with SA modding, i prefer stock SA, ...but in VC i dont think if there's at all something like "skybox map"...

i think this way bcz when i try to set it a custom value the heli can't lift at all, so i must do something wrong... Any ideas how to edit this address value and to have a new height limit by this?

Zmiana wysokości była chyba możliwa w VC Limit Adjuster 2 (standardowa wartość to 80). A jak to nie wyjdzie, to Hex-Ed i trzeba coś trochę samemu zmajstrować w silniku VC tounge.gif

wiem wiem tyle ze przez LA2 to sie chrzani ta tekstura z waterpro.dat i np w marina carparking lub w przejsciu podziemnym jest niewidoczna woda, ludzie sie topia i wogole przy podkrecaniu granic obszaru gry, pozatym LA2 ma to do siebie ze 'buguje' plik exe, zwlaszcza edycja ilosci pamieci do streamingu... wiem ze w minikonsoli spaceeinsteina jest mozliwosc ustawienia nowego limitu wysokosci ale nawet po dekompilacji niby mam ten adres tylko ze nie potrafie nadac mu nowej 'mojej porzadanej' wartosci... ludzie robia te memory hacki np jak dla zmiany pozycji swiatel-kogutow radiowozu , i skoro mam adres odnoszacy sie do wysokosci to i jemu moznaby nadac nowa wartosc , wpiac to w plik CLEO i po sprawie, tylko ze probowalem juz niemal na wszystkie sposoby ale ni chuja, nie udaje mi sie, a wiem ze o dobry adres pamieci zahaczam bo w trakcie moich nieudanych prob helikopter nie mogl sie wzniesc wogole ...potrzebuje tylko nadac temu adresowi nowa wartosc, chocby 10x wieksza te 800 ale niech byloby te pelne 1000 ;P jak wiesz jak to zrobic to pomoz bo tu sie nikt nie ruszy jak nie ma w tym wlasnego interesu, dzieki za zainteresowanie wink.gif
