I agree with him only to a certain extent. I hate pedophiles. My mom was molested by one when she was younger. They could all die for all I care. But there are people out there who just are attracted to children and can't help it. They have no perverted/devious intentions, they're just attracted to them. And basically Myron is saying that they can die too. And to me that is just ridiculous and he's not really thinking about what he's saying.

Much like those with a compulsion to kill, they are a danger to people and to society. I'm sure that some are able to control their urges, many do not and general testimony suggests the urge to commit gets stronger as the time passes.

 

I do not believe in the state or any institution mandating death, but I consider it the honourable thing to accept what you are and nullify your risk by either committing yourself to permanent incarceration in a mental health facility, going to live in the wilderness or removing yourself from the species. My advocacy for the latter is merely personal preference. Were I to be that way inclined I would be horrified to the extent of self termination.

I mean, paedophiles generally tend to hide what they are doing and are usually not found out, so whether or not they consider it terrible is irrelevant, but again I never said anything about how they do feel, you simply leaped to the conclusion. In any case, if you're suggesting that societal standards or personal morality on sexuality has no effect on whether one considers their sexuality to be repulsive, then I suppose you're discounting all the gay and bisexual suicides.
