HQ textures for GTAIII v.1.3

Hi all

 

I have been asked if this mod is still in progress... Here is all I got at the moment.

 

New in v.1.5:

 

-liftdoors_kb_256 (512x512 instead of 256x256)

-dirtywhite (512x512 instead of 64x64) credits go to dudealan2001 for providing the basic ice texture

-dirtywhitea (512x512 instead of 64x64)

-shod_disclaimer (512x512 instead of 128x128)

-dirtpass.txd

-all the files from v.1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4.

I was thinking about an installer first, then skipped the idea because people would find their modded files replaced. But maybe I can make two releases the next time, a manual one and the other with installer.

Soon the next version of my mod is ready for a release.

New Portland Docks sign (1024x512 instead of 128x64). Already with v.1.3 you got the improved barbed-wire texture and the fixed transparency bug.

New metals, created by Rockstar for GTAIV, provided by DimZet13. Big thanks! Funnily Rockstar used the same textures in GTAIV like in GTAIII.

I did a little update on one of the trees textures as well.

It's one week since I uploaded the mod on GTAgarage, I hope the download is ready soon...

Most likely a member that was banned before but just made a new account, also he's put a hint in his sig

Awesome mod! Do you have any idea why the used the same textures? I mean... I know it costs to make someone take a picture of something, edit it in Photoshop to make it fit to the standards, but it's been like 10-12 years, so what the hell? Also I think if they use such a method in making games - they still have beta version of GTA: 3, no doubt.

Well i take pics and edit it in photoshop for my mod, i do it for free tounge.gif
