The plane takes of when even I am not close to it.

Please help.....

And please tell what is player target icon?

I cant understand that.

I'll give it a try.

A target Icon is usually coloured Red. and indicates the postion of the Enemy on the Radar in the lower left of the screen. It may also be an arrow pointing at a enemy individual in a landscape. (I.e. during the 'Pier 69' mission the drug dealer crew are identified with the pointers over their heads so you don't shoot Wu Ze's troops.)

no idea whats hes talking about ^ but i had the same problem the plane seems to fly away at Incredible speeds, if you dont like cheating - get over it - during the cutscene for this mission type in FAST "SLOWITDOWN" into your keybored this will half the game time. type it in again to cut the game time into 1/4 of its usual speed now either wait out the cutscene for skip it. HOLD DOWN "W" (or your accelrate key) during the part were ur on the bike and never let go. when your allowed to drive off you get a boost + the cheats some how make the plane go alot slower then the bike. and takes about a 3 second delay untill it takes off. you should reach the plane at about 1/3 into the run way. once on the cutscene were to plane takes off be sure to type in "SPEEDITUP" twice i repeat TWICE so that your back up to normal game speed for the next part. also dont shoot on the plane use a chainsaw only and kill everyone for some reason the chainsaw is the only thing that doesent blow the plane up im sure punching blows it up lol. so yeh if you cant get a chainsaw type in "UZUMYMWL" for the 3rd weapon cheat: silenced pistol, Spaz shotgun, MP5, M4/16, lock on rockets, Satchel Charges and of course a CHAINSAW.

 

sorry in my experience cheats is the only way out of this glitch.

or if you don't want to use cheats but can't keep up with the plane, just get a few Minigun rounds before the missions, and once the cutscene of Cj getting on the bike ends, get out of it, selected the Minigun and shoot the plane till it stops, you are not going to fail the mission

 

then just drive the bike up the ramp and then you are inside the plane

A reminder People... Cheats are not a part of Mission Help.

 

The use of the mini-gun glitch works.

Also, turning off the Frame-Limiter for the mission might work too.

Your mission is complete in my first post along with the explaination of 'target icon'.

I was talking about player target icon.

It is in a red cross in a black circle.

the Aiming cross hair in my game is Black Circle with Black cross. Or with the Sniper-rifle a black circle with a red dot in the centre.

 

During the "Catalyst" mission it briefly appears in the center of the screen and usually disappears.
