Niko's Serbian phrases

Hi,

 

Is anyone in this forum a native Serbian/Croatian speaker? If so, can you write out some of the random Serbian phrases Niko uses (like after a minor collision), and give the English translations? Thanks

Well if you have subtitles on, during cutscenes when he speaks it it comes up in english in a gray font.

it comes up in subtitles only during conversations. the OP is referring to when Niko yells in his native tongue spontaneously while driving! These expletives nor peds comments are subtitled, and it'd be nice to have translations of what he says.

I'm Serbian...In beggining Niko says 'Zdravo brate' meaning 'Hello bro' Ahhh there are too much to translate use subtittles and there will be translating sh*t

again, we want to know the comments he makes that are NOT subtitled! not in cutscenes, or scripted. occassionally, Niko will yell at or cuss out another driver, whats he saying THEN?

Knowing a few words of Polish thanks to an old girlfriend, I recognised one of the pedestrian's insults anyway... "jestes glupi?" means "are you stupid?". Possibly the pedestrian was actually speaking Russian or Serbian, those languages are all related.

That was actually polish language. In russian this insult sounds "ty glup" and in serbian it is "ty si glup"

When he says "Uderio si mi auto" it means "you hit my car"

Sometimes when playing pool and he's losing, he'll say Šteta, which means pity.

If Niko's driving slowly and Roman is in the car, then Roman usually says "Hit the pedal, Niko" and after that he says "Daj gas", which literally means "Give speed", but it is meant like "Drive faster".This saying - Daj gas - is very popular in our country and also in neighbouring countries.
