trip 14,492
@AlexGTAGamer. I actually heard that today on the radio station we play all loud where I work. I'm the youngest person there and we have some great sing alongs throughout the day. Â Anyway....I'm sure ya'll are familiar with the Osmonds. Did you know that Donny actually tried to break out with an acid rock tune? Â

Slamman 130
The method I first hear things, in many ways.... a Metal band cover! hahaha  Anywho, I got to throw this late 60s tune in, it's just NEEDED at the moment   f*ckING AWESOME!!! Vega LVI 311
Love in Vain by The Stones is at the very top of my all-time favourite songs list. They did a great job with it on their Let It Bleed album. Â Â Â
Slamman 130
U F O, They need more props, of course, I never forget about them, but since Rockstar put Michael Schenker's Flying V into GTA on more then one occasion, I hope they'll get rights to use their music, I'm sure Michael Schenker would see to giving his OK, and what about Phil Mogg? He's the guy saying "Keep On Rockin'" as I mentioned, as a mantra! Â Â

Vega LVI 311
 Speaking of not getting enough recognition; T-Rex does not get enough.  I agree with you, man. T. Rex is very pushed aside.
trip 14,492
I agree with you, man. T. Rex is very pushed aside. My collection(minus vinyl). Even includes the earliest of early stuff when it was just Marc and the bongo player(forget his name) and they went by the full 'Tyrannosaurus Rex' name.

Marlowe. 15
Just a couple Led Zeppelin songs I can't stop playing, over, and over, and over again: Â Â Â Â By the way, "We've done four already but now we're steady, and then they went one...two...three...four..." would have been the perfect way to kick off 'Houses of the Holy', don't ya think? Â I also want to post this Clapton song (the vinyl sound only makes it more relaxing): Â Â Â

Slamman 130
Stepping back to 1968 with this, but it was the 70s I remember it most Mason WILLIAMS!   BTW, don't forget we have made a 60s music thread, bout some time it needs resurrecting as well!!   68 Mason performing it live  As for the Zep comments, John Bonham said those opening lines for The Ocean, like Def Leppard's Pyromania however, it's done much the same, very much tongue in cheek count off lead-in to the song, like "A one and a two, Three and a Four"   Edited February 17, 2012 by Slamman
ilovebender.com 135
Â BTW, don't forget we have made a 60s music thread, bout some time it needs resurrecting as well!! ... Oh, really? - Because; I was tempted to make one at one point.
Slamman 130
If it's a year old bump in Music Chat it won't bother too many people!?? Who am I kidding!?!??  It will  Either way, It's likely I posted last in it, since I do enjoy the classics, I won't even entertain arguments about my music taste, since I take it VERY seriously
ilovebender.com 135
Could you link the 60s music thread por favor? I can't find it. Â Â This is a Classic... Â
Slamman 130
I was too lazy to look, but I was also suggesting what Craig proved, Mods are just not keen on bumped threads, some members too, but never me, I think every post should be allowed a bump, or every thread, it would be just THAT much more interesting reading things irregardless to dating them

Korpi 1,140
Â Richard "MacGyver" Dean Anderson singing on the short lived "Dinah!" talk show in 1979. Not sure if there's a full clip of this performance somewhere. If there is, it's gotta be a mega rare one. The song, I think is called "You're just a Runaway".

Slamman 130
Surprised from the get-go with that, cause it's Bruce on vox! Sounds a bit like a different band. Old REO sounds different as well
