Adler
Hi I made a custom col for a plane mod that I converted from VC to SA. Everything's finished for the plane (dummies etc) except the plane doesn't collide with the map. It flies through walls and everything but still hits some cars and trees fine. .max file I'm really not sure what do do at this point so I'm hoping someone can help me. Thanks! EDIT Ahhh can anybody help? Edited September 22, 2010 by Adler Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/459551-plane-col-problem/ Share on other sites
renderman
You have to place some Spheres with 16 segments inside your collision mesh, they will collide with the map. Collision mesh only collide with CJ and maybe some other things, but doesn't collide with the map. This is the hydra model: http://i55.tinypic.com/34zd93t.jpg Spheres have to fill the collision mesh (hydra model doesn't have collision mesh) or the model approximately. Green is the original hydra model, and the spheres are it's collision spheres. Adler
Hehe so it was the spheres that were the problem. I created my own spheres and put the col textures on it but apparently that didn't work so now I took a sphere from the Shamal's col and cloned it a few times, rearranged and such, and it worked! Thanks a lot for clearing that up for me dude. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/459551-plane-col-problem/#findComment-1060135820 Share on other sites
