GTAIV Won't run after adding ASI

Hey guys!

 

I recently reinstalled GTAIV because i havent played it for so long i decided to slap it back on. I then looked with excitment that you can now mod the game for more fun.

 

However i patched the game to 1.04 and used the sound.dll file and put in the script hook file. When i try to start the game the Razor logo comes and dissapears and then nothing happens.

 

Im using Razor version cos my retail disc is scratched and just spins, but im using my retail code to play. I DO NOT SUPPORT PIRACY!!!! Its the only way i can play my GTAIV until i can get hold of the 1st DVD. Thought i would clear my point straight before i'm judged.

 

Has anyone got Any ideas? Il give some info on the files im using:

GTAIVScriptHook0.3.0Redist

 

I have not added any mods or trainers yet, i just wanted to test the game after adding these files.

Give us some proof that you own the game?

 

No offence, but i don't support piracy either. I'm kind of suspicious.

it has something to do with ur razor, also piracy is not allowed. if u really lost ur disk its ok. btw i reconmand u update to patch 7 and update everything else to the latest too. ill pm u with more details.

This same happens to me but I'm not using any crack

the game runs with

scripthook.dll 0.2.5.0

And dosn't crashes with any .asi scripts but I can't use them

the game crashes with scripthook.dll 0.5.0.0 or -old patches

and I can't use patch 7/6 cos the game dosn't start with that

only .cs .vb .net scripts runs when placed in scripts folder

I'm using patch 4
