BlackGuard
In GTA3 there is a way to fail the intro mission and remain in free roam. Can the same be done in this game? radioman
After you complete the first mission(the intro one), you can free roam and save as often as you like, as the safe house in Saint Marks gets opened during that mission. So, yes, the Intro mission(just like in III), is all that needs to be done to unlock the safe houses. VC, SA, and VCS? are the only games that have safe houses you can buy and use without touching the storyline. (Not sure if the Fort Baxter safe house is open after the intro or not in VCS, as I haven't played VCS in a while?) I know IV's first safe house is open after the intro(when Roman has you drive him there, it is now available without having to do more missions). Just a heads up... Also, in III, if you fail the Intro mission, the game places you back on the Callahan Bridge with the same objective to "drive 8-ball to the safe house in the Red Light District" and since you are classified as "on a mission" the safe houses are not available to enter, so how can you fail the intro mission and get the safe house open? Just curious. I'm talking about with NO cheats or trainers, btw-just the normal default un-modded game.?
