Bloodlust and tanks.

Hey guys, somewhat new to the whole "mod" thing. I'm starting to get that hang of it, but there's obviously a lot of stuff I have utterly NO clue how to do. Luckily, they made this forum for people like me. But anyway, I have several questions mostly regarding gang npc behavior in San Andreas. Here's what I'd like to know.

 

1.) Is there anyway to make gang members instantly hostile with one another so that they attack on sight? Rather than look at each other for like 3 hours before they actually do anything. IF they actually do anything.

2.) Is there anyway to give gang members specific vehicle that only they appear in? Kinda like how only cops spawn in police cars and motorcycles?

3.) If so, CAN these vehicles be tanks?

4.) Is there anyway I can cause gang members to spawn on foot in the countryside and desert areas?

5.) What is the proper way to edit a gang members animation so he walks like a soldier, but still be a gang member?

6.) I have a tool that allows me to change the guns that gang members carry. But I have to use it EVERY time I start the game. Can I permanently alter the weapons gang members carry?

7.) (This on actually has nothing to do with gangs. ;O) Can cops be removed from the game completely, WITHOUT risk of making the game unstable?

 

If you can answer ANY of these questions, I would really appreciate it.

OK I am not an experienced modder, but:

 

1. I forgot. But it probably is.

 

2. cargrp.dat (from the data folder)

Give the gangsters the car (rhino or whatever) and then remove it from any other lines, if it is there.

Every group of peds has a line with the vehicles they use.

 

3. However, I don´t know if it will work with the tank. It does not with helis. You just have to try.

 

4. popcycle.dat ( data folder )

 

5. peds.ide ( data folder )

You have to change the entry after STAT_WHATEVER.

So you want to find your gangster ( fex. FAM1 ) and change

 

105, FAM1, FAM1, GANG2, STAT_GANG2, gang2, 110F,1, null,5,5,PED_TYPE_GANG,VOICE_GNG_FAM1 ,VOICE_GNG_FAM2 

 

to

 

105, FAM1, FAM1, GANG2, STAT_GANG2, swat, 110F,1, null,5,5,PED_TYPE_GANG,VOICE_GNG_FAM1 ,VOICE_GNG_FAM2 

 

 

 

6. You would have to change it in the .scm . There is a special command for setting the weapons of the gangs.

 

7. I haven´t tried.
