What is your best/favorite moment in multiplayer

Share your stories. What have you done or seen that happened in multiplayer that you think was awesome, impressive, unbeleivable, or just flat out hilarious?

 

Mine was in Team DeathMatch. First team to $5000 wins. Cars parked with blips on Me and two others against six. My two teammates dropped out as soon as the match started but something in my head just said "screw it" and just kept playing. Four of them just screwed around and two went after me. I had an M4 and I pretty much racked up a good $1000 on those two without getting killed once. Then they dropped and the other four start going after me.

 

Jumped into a Super GT and started driving with two cars after me. Didn't pay attention to the radar much, just kept trying to get away from them. One managed to go flying off the road into the ocean at the northern tip of Algonquin. Got far enough away from the other car to get out and kill the two while they were driving. I essentially ran into buildings to do ambushes, ran on the tracks in Bohan, jumped off the tracks onto one of the billboards to keep them wondering.

 

At one point I had to face one of them while trying to avoid two on a bike and one in an Anihilator. I won by a good 1300 but it was by far my best time on multiplayer.

it's funny when I'm in a chopper and someone jumps off a roof to get away, but I shoot them while they're falling.

 

I also shot a guy midair who was on a motorbike doing a stunt jump off the ramps at the airport.

Playing FM at the airport, racing across to the control tower where 2 others are running to grab cars. I was just going to ram them, but my right front tire caught the edge of a curb and sent me airborn. The car rotated sideways and all I heard was 'thunk'....

 

Looked at the driver side of my car, and on the bottom of the door there's a red circle.... and one guy's lifeless body is laying by a car about 20 feet from the curb I hit. Apparently I took his head off LMAO

 

I laughed so hard on the headset that he and his buddy quickly left. That's my coolest kill by far!

I think anytime that you shoot a pilot from there anihilator is rather good. That or taking down a hard opponent your battling with.

Shooting people before the hit the ground is always pleasing.My Favourite moment or 10 mins i should say.I was in TMW and me and a teammate were chasing the guy with the briefcase.Behind us were the rest of his team 2 cars one with 2 guys in and a turismo bring up the rear with another guy.We must have been chasing him for about 5 or 10 mins.Wasent a 10* but could handle his car well.Anyway we were in Algonquin and the guy went through the southwest Gas station.To this day i dont know why i followed him through but i did.I dont know who it was but someone hit a gas tank and the whole f*cking place went up and took the guy with the briefcase,me,my teammate(skodabunny) and the 2 other guys in the car behind.The guy in behind them survived. Normally i would get annoyed about this but it was soo funny the way it happened.f*cking police academy stuff...Brilliant LOL LOL

on the original gta 4 it was allot harder to be blown the sh*t out of, so i used to like turning up at the airport if it was the re spawn point with some wacky vehicle like a banger or a fire engine and sometimes if i was in an emergency services vonvoy to the airport lol.

In BOGT i crashed my anhnilator at top speed in a guy in a ripley (i think), and he want through windshield in my rotors and flew half way across map and gracefully landed with a paarchute.

My favorite thing to do lately is flying any kind of chopper and having as many teammates as I can find drop grenades or molotovs on the other team from the chopper. For some reason this makes people so mad it's hilarious. I think most people hate getting blown up or caught of fire I guess. Also it isn't easy and it's great when you get a few people. Of course there are those times you will get RPGed. Can't have the good without the bad.

It's best to do in a chopper that has no weapons cause people think you're not a threat. Until the bombs start to drop. I get no money for this, only my teammates. I have done this in both TDM and TMW. Too bad you can't shoot an RPG from a chopper. lol

I was playing a race the other day with 3 other guys with no traffic on. So I was in second place as the race goes on, one of the guys left and so as it comes to the final lap I was thinking "No I am going to lose this race" when suddenly I accidently hit a pedestrian with my van (it was a van race) and an ambulance came out of nowhere, hit the person who was in the lead causing him to spin out of control and leaving me to win the race.

 

At the end I was like "OMG, how did I win? Where did that ambulance come from?"

 

I was so lucky!

about a week ago in TBoGT free mode, this "professional" parachuter was trying to show off his moves. so he went to the Rotterdam Tower, and base jumped off the roof. It just so happens I was flying my Maverick right under where he jumped. In the end, he became gliding spaghetti.

Talking about addiction, I been playing f*cking chess on GTA IV for the last 5 hours with some random idiot named Kabuki Shogun

 

Me and the rest of the players (5 of them) started at airport with weapons sett on powerful and  a game on 7500 in cash.

I started to play normally like I always play "face to face combat", in the next 5 minutes I lead the game with 1300 in cash while rest of the players had below 600! I chose the game on airport (which in normal is Bohan) because I wanted to test my sniping skills on the top of the navigation tower overlooking the whole airport area!

 

First I fully equipped myself with armor, M4, RPG, sniper and grenades and run for a helicopter while blasting others. When I arrived on the top of the navigation tower I picked my first victims, and started to track their movement and aim for the head shoot. Actually got few of them down from the first shot and prove myself that this is actually a good idea, but my friend Kabuki Shogun had the same idea and he sett himself on the top of the building next to helipad and started to blast me. I hided fast behind the helly and started to come close to the view spot and aimed for him, but I couldn't see him or his gamer tag and received one more shot near the head that lowered my health bar to 1! I entered the helicopter fast (didn't want to risk fatality) and went for the health pack and armor!

 

When I equipped myself again I sett my course for the Kabuki motherf*cker with intention to blast that asshole, but he hided behind the Fly US building and waited for me to come close so he can to put me on the ground with RPG, which he did. I re-spawned near the building and run next to him while cowered with boxes and bastard by the roof top, we started to played waiting game for awhile which I loosed first and got blasted second time, third time while attempting to enter the helly and forth time when I entered the helly but didn't managed to fly off.

 

I decided to play his game and adapt myself!

 

The rest of the players left the game and the players who was left where me, Kabuki and some guy with rank 0 which was the same number of the kills he got in time of the game!

 

First thing I did when I got re-spawned again was quick headshot to the player with 0 rank , next I run'd in the enter-able station building to get RPG, armor, sniper on the parking lot and ended in L.C.P.D station getting the helly! I fly off to the building, landed on it and flushed the bastard out from the building!

 

To cut the long story short  , the course of the game went the same! Hide on the tall building with equipped armor, RPG, sniper and the rest of equipment and wait to kill or be killed. After awhile the player with rank 0 adapted to us and started to blast me like motherf*cker  

 

We transferred the game from airport to all of the Liberty city buildings (Majestic roof top, Chrysler building and so on.....) and (tried to) killed each others. After some time another player left and I occupied the Majestic roof top while Kabuki tried to come close and spray me out, but without a luck

 

In the end he glitched (yes the bastard glitched himself) into the airport building and waited for me to leave the Majestic (which in the end I did by killing myself because he didn't want to give up). When I came close I got sprayed several times trying to figure it out where the bastard is hided.

 

I was leading with 4000 in cash, so decided to sett myself in the Statue of Happiness (below the beating heart) and give it a rest for an hour, so that bastard give's up!

 

I came back after an hour and guess who was still in the game and glitched in the airport building

 

I f*cking got mad and went for the player carefully with intention to not get blasted. He gave up as-well and leave it to rest, so it was up to me to figure it out how to enter the airport building and smoke his ass out. After one f*cking hour and million ways I finally glitched myself in the building and sprayed the bastard out!

 

Since he didn't re-spawned again I ended the game with satisfying smile on my face and got a nice Japanese PM later on from that bastard

 

Was it worth it for ? Definitely it was

That sounds like a nightmare, I had teh same experience including waiting for hours in the majestic, in the statue of liberty etc etc.

 

I've played with kabuki also, he really pisses me off sometimes. his very favorite thing to do at the airport is get on the hangar and rpg people getting in choppers, which coincidentally is one of the things that pisses me off the most. whenever i see him in a game at the airport, the first thing I do is get a heli off the police station and blow him off the top of the flyus building -- luckily he doesn't know how to fly!

Was playing in a friendly fire off game and got into a fight with 2 other guys and they pissed off to hide in a glitch in bohan. Was going to get a buzzard and get them from below but car refresh thing corrupted and there was no cars or helis anywhere. So i decided to do a base jump to see if that would get anything to spawn, jump, release my parachute and by luck of the GTA Gods...INVISIBLE PARACHUTE. So i thought this was too much of a good opportunity to waste so i used the parachute glitch to float over to them. i was in Algonquin btw. So i float down a bit, then use the glitch to go up and eventually floated over to them.

 

Then i just started hovering above them LOL they were maaaad, kept trying to shoot me, so i floated over the water then back over to them LOL eventually my parachute appeared and i landed with no display to tell me how long i had been in the air, was well over 10 minutes tho LMAO felt like Jesus

at the airport (free mode, friendly fire off) got killed by some lame f*cker in a buzzard, so I went after his ass Kill Bill style...he tried to kill me again, but somehow I evaded those buzzard rockets in some car (dont remember which) eventually blowing his ass outta the sky with a rocket launcher I got from hopping in a heli (wouldnt have been as sweet to blow him out of the sky in another heli). As soon as he parachutes down, I continue to pummel him with rocket after rocket til he dies. He immediately quit the game.

These are all great. One of my favorite takedowns is when an elite pilot-type fixates on wiping me out and I get the upper hand! I'm an OK pilot but haven't put in the practice/hours to become a "shoot anything that moves" kind of player. Yesterday I was in FM at the airport and there were about 8-10 players doing all kinds of stunts, chases, etc. But there was one pilot who was concerned with F-ing everyone up. I used my lesser skills to combat him to no avail. Eventually everyone left the game (it's no fun when one player can wipe everyone out at will) so it was me and him. I spawn with only a pistol and think I'm doomed, it's just this Annihilator zeroing in on me as soon as I spawn, I can't get anywhere - to a weapon, a car, nothing! I spawn near the copters and the pilot's on me, destroying the choppers, I run out the west exit and wind up under the overpass... I discovered if you're under that, at the north end, it's really tight and you can stay there indefinitely without being blasted - the chopper can't get low enough because of the trees. So it's just me and the chopper, I only had a pistol and was ready to wait it out for a bit. I would poke my head out once in a while to draw the chopper in and run back in. This lasted WAY TOO LONG. But I didn't want to end the game without one of us winning. Eventually they got impatient and started diving under the overpass to try to get me with the rotors. They were an excellent pilot, able to do a move like that and pull back repeatedly without any damage. Eventually they went too far in and got stuck under the overpass, their rotors were destroyed. I took the opportunity to use the last few rounds in my pistol to headshot the pilot in the copter, resulting in death. I high-fived myself and went on with my day. They were a great player, especially 'cuz I didn't get any lame messages after. I think angry messages are useless, it's for when you're a spoilsport.

killing buzzard and annihilator pilots at the airport. these "AIR..Blabla", "Apache...blabla", "Buzzard-killer..." they get so upset and chase me. and i know a way from francis international to alderney without getting shot.

My favorite moment in multiplayer would have to be when morons come at me with everything they've got! Buzzard, stickies, explosive shotgun, etc. But only to soon realize that the 'victorian became the victim'. They soon leave the game in a rage because they can't catch me
