Most GTAIV players will know about Ratman, if you don't know who Ratman is then click here. I played GTAIV earlier and I saw the orange blood-like substance and went through a few pathways and saw a construction worker and two men. So I shot the floor to see if any of them ran very fast but they didn't so I killed the construction worker and one of the other men, the other one I shot and just left the Subway.

 

Then I tried to blow up loads of cars I accidentally killed myself, so I went back to Grand Easton Station and went back to where the orange blood was, then I went to the three men again and killed them all, then went back to the Orange blood, I shot the Blood to see what happens then 5 seconds later a man in grey comes running like hell past me, quite fast I might add, so I said "Sh*t, that must be Ratman." So I managed to shoot him before he got out-of-sight and killed him.

 

So I went to have a look at him and he was still alive and rolling on the ground, so I shot him in the head, looked at him some more then left.

 

So could I have seen Ratman? He didn't look like a Rat but he ran quite fast. Has anyone else ever encountered something strange in the Subway? If you have then say what, when and how you found it. Photographic evidence is welcome. smile.gif

 

Oh and might I add that if people say "Well I checked the models and never saw Ratman." Don't forget that is only the Model you can see, Ratman, From what I saw, runs pretty fast, not as fast as a car, but still quite fast.

Sorry to ruin the fun here, but that was probably just a hobo that you saw tounge.gif Nobody has seen Ratman, because Ratman doesn't exist.

Maybe Ratman is just a normal character who can run very fast, well that's what I saw, a man (Not a hobo, he was wearing grey with a beanie Hat.) that appeared out of nowhere, how would he have gotten to me so quick when the only entrance is 15 seconds away and he got there in 5 seconds due to his running skillz.

What if it's a normal person with different stats like increased speed? Ok ur right, there probably isn't a Ratman but have u ever seen any odd looking Models in ur mod?

Look man, anyone with an IQ above room tempreture knows that this crap is fake. This game has been investigated to the very 1s and 0s of it's code and none of this has ever been found.

Is it possible to check the code of the console versions? I don't know how these things work.

no. u can use sparksiv to check it out urself. there is cutscenes characters but none of them are ratman. also lola does not exsist, its just a ped with red dress and it has been proven with the help of simple native trainer already. if ratman and lola did exsist it would have been writen in Simple native trainer and sparksiv.

 

about the ghost at sprunk factory they are just sound effects that R* did to scare u off. its the same for mansionette 9 in tbogt where u can hear people vomiting in the toilet but there isnt any1 there. its just sound effects.

No it's not, it's the bouncer from the nearby Honkers strip club. Because the dialouge happens indoors, it 'echos' off the walls. If you want proof, go into the factory, shoot, and then go outside and head towards Honkers. You will see the bouncer running towards you to initiate a fistfight.

I'd have to admit, Mr Penguin, your Ratman encounter was better written than most. Still sounds like crap though. Why is it that whenever someone writes about any GTA myth, it's always along the lines of omg so i was in the subway killin hobos when i heard a noise and i went to check it out and there was this guy and he ran up to me reallly fast and i killed him with a rpg but then i died for a completely unrelated reason but when i went back ther wass orange blood and the hobos were all like "OH sh*t ITS RATMAN" but then bigfoot killed me?

 

The thing is with a video game, is that it's all there in the files. The game's been out two years now - everything that was in the game has been found. All myths can be explained away along the lines of glitch, misconception, modification or just plain bullcrap.

Why does the so called "Ratman" in that photo look like the crazy conspiracy theories guy who you can find on the streets saying random things like "They put spies in the toilets to watch us"? monocle.gif

 

And no I have never seen Ratman only alot a homeless people. sleepy.gif

This may sound crazy to some of you, but I do think that the Ratman exists. But, I do not believe it exists in the Liberty City subway systems. The Ratman would have been proven a real character in Grand Theft Auto IV, when gamers have been searching for it for over two years in the subways. Do not ask me where I think the Ratman lurks, because I honestly do not know. I am just stating that I truely think that the subway is not inhabited by a half rat, half man creature. I have a few hints of where this giant rodent lives though:

 

-Under boardwalks

-In a dank alley

-Abandoned warehouses

 

Could it possibly live in a home that is enterable, but no one knows it?
