hey guys.

 

i've thought about buying Mafia 2 but i want to know 1 thing. is it worth buying?

 

i don't want a game with bad story, bad graphic and those things. i want an awesome story, awesome graphic and those things

The story is meh. Ends on a really unsatisfying cliffhanger. The graphics are average. There is no (built in) freeroam feature. I regret buying it at full price tbh.

If you must buy it buy the edition that includes DLC, but your probably better of with EFLC, RDR or JC2

I most likely will buy this game at a later time after the price goes down, and after I rent it, if I don't like during the rental I won't get it.

 

Though I have heard both bad and good things about it, so really it's all up to personal onion at this point.

I think the game is worth buying, I don't regret spending 109 USD on it (69.99 for the Collector's Edition + shipping from the U.S.), the graphics are great (unless you have a crappy computer or a PS3), the 50's era mood is really accurate (although there're some anachronisms gamers shouldn't really care about) and I liked the story, but it's up to you I guess.

I paid full price. It simply does not compare to the original. If it was called "6 Years In The Life of a Hired Gun" sure, buy it. But it's calling itself a sequel to Mafia.

Also, A LOT of the game was cut out.

It's a great rental. It might be worth a purchase in year or so when they release a GOTY type thing with all the DLC included.

I'm glad I cancelled my pre-order. I'll be waiting a while for either a good price drop and/or a version with all gutted bits 'DLC' included.

good game, but if u wanna buy it, buy it on pc instead, DO not buy it on ps3. every1 have their own opinion and i find the story was good but they missed out on free roam and the subway. also i expected at least till chapter 30. but the free roam mod and the DLC is all worth it. i got the DLC from *cough cough* megaupload XD. i thought i shouldnt even be paying for a DLC since it should have been in the game so i kinna got it from megaupload.

I quite enjoyed the game for the brief two days I had it and I also completed the game. Not too shabby but personally I couldn't see much replay value in the game. The game's also kinda short. Worth a rent.

A great rental, but not a buy, the story is short with not much else to do other than story missions. And it's one of those games where you can't free roam after you're finished the game.
