No intro cutscenes?

Since I've installed Windows 7 on my PC, the introduction cutscenes of Vice City don't show anymore. I hear the sounds and the music, but the screen is fully black and remains black throughout the whole clip.

Does anybody know what causes this and what can be done to fix it?

Hey Eduard, try setting the compatibility mode to 'Windows 98'; then delete 'gta_vc.set' in your User Files folder (I'm sure you know where it is).

Okay, I'll try it. I'll post when I've tested it.

It worked, but when I put the resolution on 1920x1080, it didn't work anymore, so I guess it has something to with that.

 

But, I have removed the .set file and set the compatibility mode to 98, but now I have some strange sound issues. The radio keeps repeating itself at times and when I pause the game, it waits for about 30 seconds, playing the sounds from the game.
