Got access to my apartment again! (Hoorah!) For those who are wondering, my briefcase -- keys, wallet, laptop, phones -- was stolen on Friday night, so I was locked out of my apartment all day today (Saturday). But I got back in! New keys were made, lock was changed, and we'll be back in business tomorrow @ 2:00pm EDT.

 

I'll be doing some tech rehearsal stuff tonight around 9:00pm EDT (2:00am GMT), so if you're interested in joining me, hit up the GTA Netcast Ustream page (link below).

I'm from Sweden... My english isn't all that bad. However I'm not in the possesion of a very good mic...

I was just playing GTA IV, watching TV-shows like "I'm Rich and "The Men's Room", and realized that this game have the same satirical humour as all the previous ones. Just because GTA IV had a more serious and dramatic story, which was the best one to date in my opinion, doesn't mean the game have lost its sense of humour.

Niall, you and I would make great co-hosts. We're both die hard GTA fans who have played since day one or at least I am I think you are as well. Plus we both have great voices for the radio. For some reason a mod got mad at this and decided to ban my account. No matter though a bunch of people I know plus a few mods on here are sending a message to the mod who banned me to appeal.

Can you use skype just hooking it up to the soundcard and selecting the source for audio??

Never used it before.

It's not discrimination, and it's not power abuse. I have no idea what one, but some moderator banned you for a reason. That being said, you're banned from here, so as long as you try to keep making accounts, every single one is gonna be banned.

I think you used the wrong word in your poll. "Satire" is, according to my trusty Collins English Dictionary, "the use of ridicule to expose vice or folly" - GTA IV was a "satire" of the American Dream. I think what you were thinking of was the goofy Saint's Row style humour, like the dancing midget, hidden dildo and the OG Loc mission in GTA SA. That being said, there is still quite a bit of that in GTA IV; just check the TV shows.

Where were you exactly when this took place? Well I hope you retrieve your suitcase from those wannabe thieves (who steals suitcases anyway?). If the contents of the suitcase falls in the wrong hands -- the secret of the V could be exposed.
