Having trouble with EFLC saved games

I have downloaded a saved game from the internet, (although I already finished the game ONCE) and after I copied it to (Windows 7) C:\users\name\app data\local\rockstar games\ (and so on) and when I try to load it on the game, it says "Load Failed. Check hard drive" etc etc. And oh, I backed up my game once, and tried to copy it (my own save) to the location, and still shows up like that. How do I fix this?

 

Also, I want to follow up something (modding) (i know this ain't modding section this is just for a short, and not very important question)

 

How do I mod EFLC? Can I use IV mods(like cars, textures of the surroundings) for eflc? I tried using OpenIV but it says no gtaiv.exe (bec. im using eflc) so is there a tool for eflc? What are the tools should I use for modding cars and environment textures?

you need to download xliveless and put the savegames in the folder documents/rockstar games/ gta iv/ savegames, but be warned, xliveless will disable gfwl so you won't be able to play online

 

and for the mods, yes iv mods will work on eflc but you need to use spark eflc here
