gta san andreas graphics problem

Recommended Posts

I play SA-MP all the time. This never was a problem until my computer became corrupted with viruses and i had to wipe the memory clean. The problem I'm having is that after a few minutes of gameplay the graphics descend into chaos most of the time making it impossible to actually play the game. The textures go bizerk. The scenery turns into masses of polygons, often obscuring the camera view. I tried taking a picture but it wouldn't show in any of them. So i hope someone knows what I'm talking about and has a solution for me. I don't know what kind of video/graphics card i have.

biggrin.gif yeh you should read my post almost identical problem. i wiped my computer clean an the game flikerd the alphabet and images disorenting my view. and occasionaly my screen goes black for like 10 seconds. i went over to intel.com (the place wich makes ur computer run) almost every computer is made with one if not all im unsure. but yeh type in on google intel.com driver update. and it will run a scan and see if ur intel driver are up to date. and then for free u can re-update them, 2 questions. did ur sa work befor u wiped. if it did. then that means the solution will almost definatly work. also whats ur specs? if on vista go to control pannel - system mantinence - welcome center - then at top left click show more details then tell u the main "system" specs of ur computer. thanks brb ima check the link for that intel thing even tho this i a message not live text streaming lol... 20mins:36secs later lol : intel driver update utility (click the start search/scan button thing and follow the instructions.) biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

im very confident this is ur solution. as it seems very similar to my problem. go ahead and check out my post if u want "help! screen problems" or somet like that GOOD LUCK and if didnt help dont forget to answer my questions. suicidal.gif

Pardon me? Your the one tracking smilies all over that damn post dozingoff.gif

If you don't know what kind of GFX card you have, do this:

I'm assuming you use Windows so yeah...

Go to the start menu, and go to 'Run'. Open 'Run' and type in "dxdiag". A message will come up (I forgot what it says..). Click 'OK' when the message comes up. Now dxdiag is loading all your system information. Once it does that, go to the 'Display' tab. There, it will reveal your current GFX card (model, memory, etc..).

Once you've got it, feel free to tell us which graphics card it is.

Quit talking gibberish. That guy's helped me more than you have already.

Ok but which model is it? Geforce? And how much memory does your GFX card hold? Go back to the dxdiag tool and give us full detail.

Plus, we'll need your system specs in order to figure out this problem faster and more easier.

@iixwh3l4nxii - You make no sense. Don't even try to help when you don't even know what the problem exactly is dozingoff.gif

And stop using smilies so much. It makes your posts look childish.

Your graphics seems to be in the correct range to run San Andreas..

One thing I'm assuming is that there was something wrong with the server you went on. Perhaps, a bug?

Do you have any mods installed into the game? Like a texture mod? (SRT3, LS New roads, etc..)

Also, you could try updating your graphics card. It's possible when you go on this website.

Enough. Looks like the problem has been solved. I better lock this topic before sh*t gets out of hand.

@iixwh3l4nxii: I do not want to see a repeat of what has happened in this topic. Consider this a final warning.
