I go into a game actually expecting there to be at least 1... pretty stupid imo... and I always end up being the target of them since I always own other people... the modders "come to thier rescue".. then once I find a way to frustrate the modder they just freeze my xbox... why cant/wont R* fix this? And I know for a fact that a LOT of people underestimate that statement. You say this to 2 people whining to each other about how hey are getting killed and completely trolling over the microphone that "this is not Deathmatch, this is free mode. If you want to kill each other and complain about who is better, take it to the game type that Rockstar designed for people like you, it's called Deathmatch." Then of course as soon as you say that, you become that bad guy in their eyes and they start trolling at you etc. Free mode becomes a giant joke sometimes. S08 Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 I'm not going to lie; I am a modder on the 360 version my self well until I get my new XBOX this weekend, I basically did it for the fun - of getting cars that you can't get in actual multiplayer. *Skylift *Swift etc, things like that. I don't ruin peoples games when I join, I talk to them and leave them alone and play with my friends. And a Few things About the FREEZING. It is not possible to individualy freeze people, but with Certain mods 5.3, etc and lower then that there are "freeze" cars that will take out all players who aren't modders. the "offical" 5.0 mods, don't have that as its basically just based on super speed ~ and stuff like that. blowtorchrepair Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 Okay, I know there's others out there with your opinion so here's how you skylark in a Free Mode (FM) game without having to worry about other killers, or without ruining regular FM games with your mods because you can't understand why you're getting shot and bombed. 1. create your own custom game 2. only have available baseball bats in the smallest part of the map offered. (can you set a game up with zero weapons?) 3. turn the friendly fire option so that players can't kill each other and PRESTO, LC is now set up so that when regular LC riffraff enters your game looking for targets they'll see that it's a Peacenik game and will then leave! Heres a picture of what i have. See, theres no freeze gun; the Freeze cars were also tooken out in the offical 5.0 release, so basically its just super speed flying drifting and Rockets. The one I reported has frozen my freind out of GTA games, joind his games in Cod and Demotes him (so he cant rank back up), and just today he just hacked my freinds account. He also is doing freezing on TBOGT, TLAD, and Original GTA IV. This guy joined my freinds Cod games and somehow demotes him, and he did it in CoD 4, CoD WaW, MW2 and Black Ops. My freind is not the only one who was rapidly frozen in GTA, Demoted in CoD, and had his account hacked. Hes done it to many others too because Ive goten messages from other people complaining about him. However there are good modders out there too. They arnt all bad. The ones who spawn cars for people or just have stuff that benifits everyone in the lobby or benifits no one like a timecycle mod, those are the good modders. Not the ones who freeze out the lobby and hack accounts. I know this is a GTA forum but people should list the Call of Duty modders here too as they usly end up on GTA as well. PC Have mods and play with modders (Nice Modders) or dont have mods and play with non modders, Xbox 360 Originaly was play with my freinds because that was the system they had it on but most of them went to CoD so now its get blown up by a**hole modders (mod or be killed and frozen), and PS3 is play the game the way its ment to be played.
