The dickhead host kicked me because he thought it was me. I told me modder guy and he kicked the host!He also can't be kicked. It's like he created the game and has full reign over multiplayer. Apparently, it's all simple C++ commands It's a 'Bot' It is a private .asi mod. I have it but it is not that good, you can kick anyone on command without anyone else voting and you can also kick the host, delete players cars etc. It get's boring and is not that fun. Where did you get the idea of a bot from? Because there is a private bot that performs those actions you mentioned earlier. You obviously just haven't seen it/heard of it. And yes, they do ruin the fun. It's pretty annoying if they go to a vehicle 5 miles away from them in an instant and are invulnerable to every hazard. Irritating. I mean have Rockstar even noticed. Cos' it's getting to the point where I feel like complaining. Before anyone ask's I infact do play other games, I do socialize outside. It's just I will not be forced off one my favourite games/DLC's by some guy that thinks he is the King because he can mod. As far as i know, only limited mods have been by-passed through the latest patch. Theses are the only mods i know about that are available for Original IV at the moment. I am only going by the information i have gathered as of late 2010, so there may be more mods that have by-passed the latest patch. •No Water. •Perfect Handling. •Invincible To Rocket Explosions. •More vehicles in MP (that you wouldn't normally find in MP) •Different car colours; pink, light green, yellow etc. With the 'Invincible To Rocket Explosions' mod, i believe that also shares the same purpose with any other explosion type in the game i.e. grenades, molotovs, vehicle explosions etc. It is very rare that you will see these modders. But they may become more frequent over time, or maybe they won't at all as GTA IV is slowly dying down with the hype of an announcement by either Take Two or R* for a next GTA title. Modders are on both EFLC which includes TLaD. Most modders are on TBoGT however so playing TLaD would be the best bet. Modders are also on GTA IV but there are only limited mods outs right now. No one has been banned for modding GTA IV as of yet over the past two years so nothing to worry about if one was wanting to mod themselves as some like scare people into thinking they might get banned. Not so much explaining the details about console modding so much as it is explaining what you can do if. I was expecting this topic to just die, but then it got dug up from the topic grave for a post that states the already obvious and how they are affected by console modders weather it be for GTA or any other game that affects the game in any major way. I suppose your right. I just really expected this topic to die after a few weeks of inactivity, but i guess i was wrong. There's nothing much more here to discuss other than to flame at people who mod their consoles, but even then that is quite pointless really when you think about how many people in the world are actually doing this. We aren't like showing people how to mod, just informing people of the mods that are possible there is no harm in that. I doubt modifications for consoles will get much better than they currently are. Knowing that script mods (.asi, .lua etc.) may or may not be possible for consoles make me come up with that assumption. I doubt that scripting for GTA IV on consoles will happen any time soon unless someone finds a way to run them off an external device or somehow, some way adds software to the console. GTA 360Sure I would, but we can't so I won't, and I intend to do my utmost to stay on the right side of the law when the cops are looking. The cops won't come knocking on your door for modding on a game. You don't even have to flash your xbox, you can simply get it legally and burn a backup of it with mods. You most likely won't even get banned especially on GTA IV. I'm sure most if not all of you have downloaded a song illegally, a movie, or whatever else which is 10x worse which people sometimes get fined for in very few cases. Nah Tso Gud Posted March 12, 2011 Share Posted March 12, 2011 I was playing the other day and there was a guy with a R* logo before his name and the GT was like RSG ( something )... he wasnt modding like the obvious ones do, he wasnt invincible, but his Buzzard was able to take your heli out in say, 5ish shots of the machine gun ( barely need to be shot at all ).. hed hit you with one and youd start smoking and like no more than 3-5 would hit you and youd be on fire already... even in an Annihilator ( or whatever the bigger, faster chopper is ) anyone else ever run into this type? He kept shooting everyone he saw, finally I was able to get to an Annihilator and bug the hell out of him by doing a sortve bypass shooting at him, flying far away, turning around and repeat... it was pretty damn effective, and I could tell he was getting pissed it was funny.. at least I drew him away from the others so they could play how they wanted... just thought it was funny that I was sortve able to "beat" him haha.
