EFLC Fatal Error

I once had this error and it disappeared all by itself, but now it's back and won't go away. I start EFLC, get into the game then 5 seconds later the game crashes and gives me this:

 

"EFLC FATAL ERROR: WTV260

 

EFLC FATAL ERROR: WindowsTimerFunctionsValidator::Check() -

FAILED! - Either reboot or reinstall Game For Windows LIVE"

 

I posted this before on these forums, but apparently no one knows a solution for it. Posting again in hope someone knows what to do.

 

P.S.: I already reinstalled GFWL a million times with the latest version and still nothing. OS - Windows Vista 64-bits.
