spaceeinstein
No, he's right, it's not a texture but it's also not coding. It's modeling. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/458530-highway-signs-change/#findComment-1060112925 Share on other sites

coin-god
They are textures dude, but we dont know the names. There are dozens. Just use MED to check the map and look for each of them. MAD BOSS
Not textures. I checked. The signs in MED are BLANK, only with the green background, no letters. So, which file is configuring these signs? I think that's what he is looking for... yair1221
than you must assume there is ANOTHER txd that controls WHAT the names are, im assuming you will find what it is in one of the Streams Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/458530-highway-signs-change/#findComment-1060117431 Share on other sites
hristobg
This is called 2d text. It's something like to add lights and particles. DexX's script can't create 2d text, so I guess you can use 2dfx editor. Well, import your sign in 3ds max. Add dummy (create -> helpers -> dummy). Place it wherever you want to be, open DexX scripts and export the info. Then open 2dfx editor, import the .sae and edit it. You can add 2d text. Then save the .sae and import it in RW Analyzer. Scroll down and look for BIN MESH PLG (you will see its a sub of the Blue Extension). Right click on Blue extension -> Add Section Data and select 2dfx Data. Then right click on the 2dfx Data (it should be orange) and choose Import. Select the .sae file. Now the extension is green. Save the dff, re-import it in the img and play! Hope you understand me, because my english sucks. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/458530-highway-signs-change/#findComment-1060118112 Share on other sites
