L.A Noire delayed

R* have now confirmed that L.A Noire (as expected) has been delayed until 2011.

Well, now I know that L.A Noire is being developed by Team Bondi and is only published by R*. But I'm thinking that this may push a possible V release out of 2011, since they might want the audience to focus on one game at a time, L.A Noire and Agent probably being top priority on being released. These news, however expected, has killed some of my hope on that V might be released next year. Now I instead believe that L.A Noire will be released next spring, Agent next fall and V in 2012, unless I'm wrong and they gladly release several games at the same time.

 

Not sure that this topic is counted as valid for the V section, but I think that all R* actions effects V, so I gave it a try.

If you are counting all AAA titles under the Rockstar/Take-Two banner due in the next 2 years, then there's Max Payne 3 to throw into the mix.

The person who thinks that he/she is going to play GTA Next in the next year , must be dreaming . I have known previously that L.A Noire will be pushed to 2011 , and it's probably going to release in April or May . There's no enough time to market such a triple-A title that's promised to set a benchmark in the video games industry especially in terms of the facial animations technology .

 

I have been surprised that they didn't mention Max Payne 3 , which makes things harder to even think that GTA Next would release in the first half of 2012 . L.A Noire will release in the first half of 2011 , and this would happen if it wouldn't get another delay . The case of Max Payne 3 is very strange , the only thing we know right now is that it has been pushed to 2011 , and it will probably release in the second half of the year . That will makes things harder to predict when the next GTA will release .

 

In the current situation , we have two triple-AAA titles coming from Rockstar in 2011 , and Agent will not hit the shelves until 2012 , so is it possible to have a new GTA in the same year that will deliver a GTA-like game in terms of the impact ? probably , but it's not Rockstra's habit , neither the whole Take Two's point of view on marketing . One of the reasons that has led them to push L.A Noire and Max Payne 3 back to 2011 is to give RDR more space to establish itself very well in the market , and when looking at 2012 as the year that's supposed to have a new GTA , we will be in trouble because As I said that Agent will most likely release in the first half of 2012 , and again , Take Two and Rockstar will give it the enough time and space to establish itself in the market in the same way they are doing with RDR , so we shouldn't expect a GTA game in 2012 especially if the considered that Agent will have the same impact of GTA as Rockstar and Sony stated , and also that GTA is a bigger franchise than both L.A Noire and Max Payne .

It didn't have an exact date but it was supposed to come out somewhere around the last few months of the year. Must be like the third time it's been delayed now.

 

It doesn't surprise me that a game Rockstar is involved with gets delayed, to many games coming out in these last few months anyway so it's a good job really.

The reason i thinks its been delayed is because there trying to get max payne 3 ready for release. I dont think we will see a new trailer for la noire untill max payne and gta v have been released.
