How can I convert 164 binary IPLs to plain format?

I want change some IDs e.g 615 to different.

I changed everything in data folder that has relation to this ID (vegepart.ide, Li.ipl and tvs.ipl)

But game still crashes.

I know that GTA SA has binary IPLs in gta3.img

It would be better, when I had them converted into plain format to maps\binarybefore folder.

I want to convert these 190 binary IPL files from gta3.img + gta_int.img to normal.

I know about gta.dat IPL 42 files too, but this limit can be increased by SA Limit Adjuster.

So, is there any way to convert them fast and efficiently WITHOUT opening everyone of them in IPL Editor and copying generated content manually?

 

I want immediate answer, because if I had to wait many days, I would convert them faster manually

Yes.

I know that I can convert them through opening in IPL Editor and taking content.

But my question was can I convert over 190 IPL files to plain quickly?

Try importing an binary ipl to IPL Helper (lae2_stream0.ipl in this case) and then save as normal IPL File, not as Binary IPL.

EDIT: Ahhh, I understand you now. Sorry. You want to convert over 190 binary IPL's to normal one in one click. Well, I don't know how. dozingoff.gif

There is a reason for them beeing Binary IPL's.

 

Converting them all to normal IPL's wont really make the game work stable.

 

Is it possible? Yeah it is. Easy, but would take time to make 164 though.

 

Why do you want them to be normal IPL's?

Because I want add more cars on IDs 612-650.

Advantage of these IDs between 600-630 (? there are audio slots in gta_sa.exe up to 630) is that added cars can be spawned through 014B and 014C opcodes

If I add car on ID e.g 3136 car spawning through these opcodes won`t work, only one-time spawn.

Unfortunately already 615 ID is busy.

 

Main advantage to me will be that I can search suitable data using e.g File Text Finder.

You told game won`t be stable. I wan`t to convert these binary IPLs to plain IPLs. Find e.g text 615 through File Text Finder and change 615 to my associated in vegepart.ide value.

After I wan`t convert this not binary file to binary and replace in IMG archive (gta3.img or gta_int.img depending on where it was)
