hi... Here's my question:

 

in carmods.dat, at the bottom, are the 3 wheel groups (0,1,2 - the numbers that appear at the end of every car line in vehicles.ide)...

 

I'm a little curious, and, i made some backups, and wrote the groups all the same, all of them with every wheel that the game has, with the purpous of appearing all the wheels at once ... But my game crashed as soon as I changed a wheel in a car ...o

 

You're allowed to laugh, if you want , but... Is this impossible to do, making all the wheels appear at once, or I just did something wrong?

 

Waiting answers... any clue, any hunch is welcome...

It might be that because you have every wheel in the list, the game can't handle the amount properly. I can't say how many wheels total it should be but if it causes the game to have to/want to write text off the bottom of the screen that could cause problems. If it does try then that could be the source of the crash.

 

Try using less and less entries until the game no longer crashes... Or restore the original file/backup then just add/swap a few of your favorites for each of the shops.

my game is working, like i said, i made some backups... i was interested in making'em all appear at once (i'm curious, i'm messing up my game all the time, maybe someday i discover something interesting ), but i'm seeking opinions...

 

Do you really think i should forget this idea, or should i search some "professional help" to "develop" this "project" ?
