The games just looks better on

Recommended Posts

Whenever I try to get one of those HD MI cables something bad happens.

The game looks at its sweetes in Non-HD, on a regular sized HD TV on xbox 360.

Everything else is overdone, and probably overrated. Pushing the resolution to the maximum with 1080p and all that or even getting it on a pc is simply too much of a good thing.

GTA IV looks best soft but not too blurry, with warm colors.

Maybe in the future people will write more posts about their experiences, comparing HD vs non HD.

Console versions only, please. The PC version is an ugly betty. Although it has some intellectual skills.

Troll detected.

It gets LESS blurry as the res gets higher, but as the xbox 360 only renders GTA4 at native 720p (regardless of '1080p' advertisement) it will always appear the same. However on the PC, as you can actually play games in proper 1080p plus the ability to turn the blur filter off I think you'd prefer that platform.

I can atest to most of what the OP said.

I had GTA IV on 360 and if I ran it on my 19' PC Monitor via the VGA cables the game looked like a blurry watercolour POS, it was really hard to play and every other game looked great. But if I ran it on my small SD TV via Composite connection the game looked great.

But now I run PS3 EFLC via HDMI and it looks awesome.
