can anyone tell me what dummies are and how to create them?

 

dummies are like collision files?

and here is my way to create them:

i create a copy of the object in the same location

and convert it into a dummy

 

im using ZModeler

Dummies are used the same way as bones, to link stuff.

 

For example you use a dummie to link the door of a car to the car chassis, so it can then be rotated (along the dummie axis) to open close it.

 

They can also be used to say where special things go, like other wheels etc.

 

I have no idea on how to use them in Zmod tho.

I told you, I dont use Zmodeler. It sucks.
