corvettelover
Hello, I found this "modification/conversion" to the now-unsupported and offline Motor City Online, I'm gonna start downloading it after I type this post, but from the looks of it, its a Single Player modification of Motor City Online (MCO). I'm not sure if this is allowed on here or not, but it shouldn't be a problem since EA shut the servers for the game down in 2003 and stopped supporting it. GTA3Freak-2001
Hmm interesting, I remember hearing about it back in the day and totally liking the whole premise of buying old muscle cars and then doing them up online but alas I never managed to join in before EA killed it off. Really from what I've heard it was something ahead of its time and given NFS World is the spiritual successor you can see why. I'll have to give this a go but given the website mentions no Vista support I doubt it will work like most NFS's of the era in Windows 7 EDIT:: Nope doesn't work in Win7 Edited August 23, 2010 by GTA3Freak-2001 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/457515-motor-city-offline/#findComment-1060094615 Share on other sites

I know that before you can use it you have to use the registry injecting thing it came with. GTA3Freak-2001
Yeah I did all that as well as compatibility mode but when launching the game it gives an error, the same error you get when trying to run NFS: High Stakes which is what MotorCity uses as a base. I've also got 64bit Win 7 which adds another layer of issues for older games. There is a patch to get NFS High Stakes working in Win 7 so it would only take the author to adapt one to his release.
