FV Mods
To help you we need to know in what tool was it modelled in and , how did you import it. If you used skechup , you might've had purple faces which are invisible ingame. _Rob_
If you added png's to the txd instead of bmps it can have that effect also Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/457395-invisible-model/#findComment-1060094082 Share on other sites

Shadow-Link
What color was your model before you put textures on it? If they where purple you've got to "flip" them. iLiR
If your model has faces like this: Then you need to reverse faces, do it by right-clicking over your model and click Reverse Faces. Your model will turn into white. And remember, visible faces of your model should be always white, otherwise it will be invisible ingame. Mr. Kingpin
But how can both sides be visible? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/457395-invisible-model/#findComment-1060094660 Share on other sites
coin-god
But how can both sides be visible? They wont. Its how the engine renders things. Only one sided poligons. You will have to make 2 poligons to amke a doublesided one. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/457395-invisible-model/#findComment-1060094663 Share on other sites

iLiR
They wont. Its how the engine renders things. Only one sided poligons. You will have to make 2 poligons to amke a doublesided one. That's right, the engine renders only one side of polygon. But you can make both sides visible by adding some numbers in the IDE file. Ex.: If the IDE line looks like this: 14703, ura_e_katert, slikat_e_ures, 200, 0 Then, instead of 0 you write 2097152. It looks like this: 14703, ura_e_katert, slikat_e_ures, 200, 2097152 And, sorry for this bump Edited November 22, 2010 by ilir Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/457395-invisible-model/#findComment-1060214453 Share on other sites
Shadow-Link
It's not needed for most models tho. So not recommended as it will slow down rendering time a lot.
