Gta IV Epic Stunts - Volume 1

Recommended Posts

I offer to you my first stunt video recorded from "The Ballad Of Gay Tony" and edited with Sony Vegas Pro. This is my first stunt video for gta 4, I took two weeks to film and 2-3 more days to assembly it.

This is my first video, all criticism, good or bad, are good to take to hopefully many future volumes.

Enjoy colgate.gif

Hello (or bonjour), welcome to GTAForums! Thanks for the video, but you should know that we don't allow threads for individual videos or screenshots, so all videos go in this thread: GTA IV Theatre

That being said, I really enjoyed your video. Many people come here with stunt videos that are short and poorly done, but only very few of your stunts I thought were average or too easy. Many of your stunts were inventive and I liked them a lot. I see your stunts almost on par with some of BenBuja. If you do not know who he is, look up his GTA stunting videos, because he is considered the master of GTA IV stunts.

So the biggest part of your video was good, that's great. However, your camera angles were a little boring. Again I suggest watching how BenBuja does it. You may want to include closer shots and angles showing where you are going instead of the side of your vehicle, as well as using zoom and multiple camera angles. Just a suggestion.

The music was a little boring. Try something more intense! That song was too methodical and something a little heavier would have been more interesting. You can't go wrong with heavy metal.

And of course, I liked the ending. Nice landing on that one.

Okay, Thank for your comment, yeah i see 2-3 videos of benbuja, he is really the master of stunt ! For the camera, i know that i could do better but it's my 1st video, and I wanted to record fast for me to make a base for the future vids. i'm going to reply on the good thread, thx a lot.

And for the music, i think that it's is a matter of opinion biggrin.gif

Oh God. Yeah, listen to Oddsock if you fancy being another cliché in stunt video soundtrack.

Personally, I thought Breathe was a good song choice. Especially liked the way it synced with what was going on in the video. The stunts look so ridiculous and impossible; that's why it's epic I guess!

Awesome. That must be with the PC version, yeah? Some of those camera angles looked like nothing I've come across with PS#.

And where's that skate park??? Don't tell me there's a bit of LC I still haven't seen! It looked like it was near the golf driving range.

ps. I dig the Prodigy.

Yeah, it's with the PC version, I bought a new Pc on the end of july (i5 750, gtx 460; 4go ocz cool.gif ) and the first game i installed is EFLC, cause i played gta 4 on xbox for 2 years, and i couldn't record my stunt, so when i installed it, i became a little mad with the replay editor lol.gif

The skatepark is near the golf, just behind the bowling. colgate.gif

You're a jerk. A JERK. The song he had was way too relaxed for me and I felt like it didn't fit. I'm not saying heavy metal works only, but BenBuja did some great stuff set to Metallica (and I really don't like Metallica). Maybe some Electronica or heavy techno? Like Pendulum--not saying it has to be Pendulum, they've got some overused stuff.

I've no problem with any song cause i listening all the style of music (rap, reggae, rock, metal, electro...).

In my previous stunt vids (for SA (2005)) i choose RATM - Killing in the name of, but with EFLC and particulary with TBGT i choose electro music cause it's better with the athmosphere of the game colgate.gif
