WDR
I've searched for this and couldn't find anything!! Is it possible to change the songs in the radio stations in San Andreas using an audio editor? (I am not talking about the User Track Player where you can add songs but actually radio stations!). Someone please tell me quick! Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/457222-change-sounds/ Share on other sites
andyyy94
To replace sounds from radios you'll need Gui for SAAT (or GFS). Also you will need a converter or some audio editor to save files as .ogg (radio files format). I used Acoustica 3.3 to record sounds from my computer, microphone, editing songs, etc. Once you installed GFS, something like this should appear: Ok, you must stablish your GTA San Andreas directory and where to place the exported sounds. Now, select "Stream" and this list will appear: CH, CO, CR, etc. Are radios. CH = Playback FM. I will modify this one. (Make a backup of sounds in case something goes wrong) Then export this and go to the folder you extracted that file. (You can also modify "ADVERTS", they are ads that you hear in every radio). Those files are .ogg sounds. They are talking segments from the DJ, advertisements and songs. Listen at them all. Every song is separated into 7 files. The first one is the middle part. The next 3 are intros (with talking dj or without), and the next 3 are the end of the song. You must replace sounds in the same order (mid, intro or end), same name, with .ogg format. Once you finished replacing sounds, go to GFS, select "Import": and then click on Import. Done, go to your game and listen to the radio (If something goes wrong with the radio, it means that you forget some detail, as the order of files, their name or format) Edited September 10, 2010 by andyyy94 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/457222-change-sounds/#findComment-1060089391 Share on other sites
WDR
Thanks a lot, brother!! But can give you give a list of which two letter acronym stands for which radio. Also about the 7 file splitting, how do i split the intro and end when my song is only one file? Or can Acoustica 3.3 do that? Please tell me this and I'll relieve you from clearing my doubts further. Cheers!! Then, cut it in three parts (intro, mid, end) and save them with the same format and name. Remember, "tracks" are always cut in this order. First file: Mid. Second, Third and Fourth file: Intro. Fifth, Sixth and Seventh: End. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/457222-change-sounds/#findComment-1060091068 Share on other sites
